Also which dynamic are YOU most eager to see in S3?

Omg, first of all thank you SO much for the ask :D, I'm honored!! Honestly I'm gonna use this as an excuse just to yap about my hopes and theories for S3 in general because from what's been teased and discussed so far, it's by far the Hazbin Hotel season I'm most looking forward to! Please bear with the long response lol, I ended up having more thoughts than I realized.

So, at least from what I understand, so far we know that S3 will have a lot of focus on Angel, his contract, and perhaps more about his relationship with Val. I fear we might even get darker scenes than we did in S1E4 Masquerade which is a pretty grim thought. Poor Angel is definitely going to go through it. It will be great to see how this impacts how Husk views Angel's situation, especially compared to his own, and how it develops their relationship and camaraderie as a whole. I'd love to also learn more about Husk's contract while we're at it. And of course, it would be really really cool to see Angel figure out a way to escape Valentino this season. I personally believe redemption into Heaven is literally physically impossible while a soul is bound to an overlord in a soul contract; it isn't free to be released into another realm. So if the end goal is for Angel to be redeemed (which I don't imagine would happen until S4 at the earliest; Angel is part of the main cast and has a lot going on for him in Hell), Angel first needs to escape the contract, and this can be what he does in S3. The redemption plot line could then happen in S4 or beyond. I can't see him being redeemed too early, even if that doesn't necessarily mean he's out of the story for good.

We also know that S3 will have a lot of focus on family. It is possible that Arackniss and Molly will be introduced this season, though judging by when Viv was discussing the voice casting for Arackniss (back in May of this year), they might have more of a presence in S4. Either way I wouldn't be surprised if more of Angel's backstory was discussed this season which I'm excited about.

While we're on the subject on family, I think an almost guaranteed dynamic we'll be exploring this season is the Morningstar family dynamic, with Lilith finally making her grand entrance into the show. I'm VERY excited to learn more about how Charlie, Lucifer, and Lilith will interact with one-another, especially after they were broken up for nearly a decade (or perhaps even longer). I've also been curious for the longest time about how the Morningstars are viewed not only by the sinners in the Pride Ring, but by Hell and all of the hellborn. We know Seviathan and the Von Eldritch family will have some sort of presence in the show, perhaps we will not only get them but more exploration into the Hell royal families in general. How does Charlie vibe with the hellborn? She seems so much more content to only hang around sinners when hellborn generally seem much more interested in keeping amongst their own, which really intrigues me. She's very different from other Hell royalty we've seen so far. What are the politics like? What is Lucifer's relationship with the Sins? The Ars Goetia?

This is an excellent opportunity for the long-awaited Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss crossover to occur. It would be incredible to see some of our favorite characters from both shows interact, and I don't even know where to start with what could be explored with those chaotic dynamics haha.

Of course, I'm incredibly excited to see more focus on Vaggi next season. Stephanie has said that the significance of her bow will be discussed, and I swear at one point I read that there's a legitimate reason for Vaggi to be the only exorcist we've seen with a single stripe running down her wings instead of the two all the other exorcists have. Is she unique from the other exorcists in some way? Does the bow have some sort of significance to her and Charlie's relationship? If Sev is introduced next season, I am extremely curious to see how Vaggi will react; we know she can be a little put off by others having any implied coziness with Charlie (mostly by Emily so far lol). With some of her traumatizing Heaven backstory teased in S2 (and that special exorcist friend/sister/girlfriend of Vaggi's), I would be both heartbroken and excited to see more of it explored next season, if we learn more about Heaven and the exterminations/exorcists in general. Vaggi has also had such a grounding presence in Charlie's life in the absence of her mom; now that Lilith is returning, will this have any effects on Vaggi's perceived place by Charlie's side? Also if the exterminations are only 7 years old, does this imply the exorcists themselves are only 7? First of all, wild. But, and this is definitely a more self-indulgent thought, if the exorcists are heavenborn, do they not have any family relations with anyone but each other? This has some pretty sad and lonely implications for Vaggi being so cruelly cast out and rejected. Charlie (and later the Hotel) has perhaps really been the only source of healthy family relations she's ever had in that case (so the sudden presence of her blood family reuniting can definitely reopen some wounds she hadn't come to terms with). There's less ground for this idea to stand on, but I would just really love for Vaggi to develop a more mother/daughter, or at least mentor/student relationship with Carmilla. Give her more support outside of Charlie!!! She still has so many insecurities to work through and I'm curious to see if she'll be forced to confront them this season if the exorcists, Heaven, Lilith, and Seviathan are explored more this season. And she's finally getting a solo song aaaaa!! Definitely looking forward to that.

Lastly, we've been teased that Alastor might take more of an antagonistic role next season now that the strings holding him back have been cut. What are his intentions; what does he want (especially with his focus on Lucifer)? I'm excited to learn more about Rosie's power and what she wanted out of Alastor when she had him under contract. What could he have done that her vast power couldn't? I'm also a little intrigued by how in her verse of Hear My Hope; she was clearly encouraging Alastor to help the others and disgusted by his self-serving behavior at the cost of so many lives. She seemingly teleported away from safety in Cannibal Town and closer to the weapon, and even made some sort of deal with Alastor to get him to cooperate. She's a very cunning overlord with hidden agendas, but I wonder if her intentions are purer than others. I think for Hell's sake, it was safer for Alastor to be on her leash than off it lol. Rosie and Alastor also seem to have a pretty unique relationship for owner and owned; it almost seems cordial compared to the other examples we have to go off of (Husk and Al, Angel and Val; I suppose Niffty does have a pretty special relationship with her owner too). I'd love to learn more about their dynamics, especially now that Alastor is no longer bound to her the way he was before.

Honestly the more I typed out this response, the more I realized I have so much I could talk about my ideas for the directions S3 could go, and I feel like I could double my response length if I so chose. I also really can't choose which dynamics out of all of these I'm most looking forward to. I suppose out of all of them the Morningstar family dynamic is the one I'm really interested in?? It really is hard to pick haha. But I think that's all I'll say for now for the sake of keeping things semi-coherent lol. Thanks so much for the ask again!
