Professor Zeeblebug was once a brilliant human scientist, who was often the subject of ridicule for his peers due to his fascination with the supernatural. In an attempt to prove them wrong, he constructed a device that (he assumed) would open a gate to the spirit world. However, a fly got caught in the portal, resulting in a bizarre explosion that fused the two into one being. He now uses his knowledge and resources to aid the Frightogers in their mission, and possibly find a cure for his condition along the way.
