This is a wonderful question, my friend! I can assure you that Althea will be happy by the time Special Branch wraps up. I love her deeply and could never leave her in a place where she’s miserable. There might be some bumps along the road, but I think she’ll be pleased at where she ends up. :)
Funnily enough, much like Jake Durant, she was supposed to just be a walk on character, but Our Girl had other ideas, lol. She’s actually one of my favourite characters in the whole series because I think she’s grown so much and has challenged a lot of the belief system she thought to be true when she first walked on screen. I love her so damn much. <3 <3 <3
