“Of course I’d come. How could I not when you asked so nicely?” he grinned, taking a seat on the other side of the table. “So whaddap? Nothing’s wrong, right?”

Her features that was previously clouded with worry finally lit up once she saw the male approaching. “No, not really. I just--” She cleared her throat, the apples of her cheeks flushed with crimson as she meekly continued. “I want to ask a favour, if that’s alright with you.”

“This?” Zeph lifted the smoothie he was drinking, a popular snack that consisted of a mixture of fruit and dairy and high amounts of sugar (even though his lacked the sugar as he feared his body could not digest such great amounts just yet). “Dunno. Probably healthy. Want a taste?”

It is a simple question met with a simple answer but Byunghun still isn’t sure. His eyes glance between the other’s face and the drink before scrunching up his face. “Is it sweet,” he asks after a moment of thought. Though he can consume just about anything Byunghun still has his preferences. And his top preference is sweet.

“Is this gonna be some sorta deep ass poetic moment, ‘cos I’m really bad at that,” Zeph replied with all honestly. He had decided to give it a shot anyway, even with the risk of not impressing her. The view was pretty, even if there was some lesson hidden beneath. “Concrete and glass. Houses on top of houses. Some streets, but not many when we’re this high. A coupla trees if I squint. And about 50% of my vision is the sky, which is a relief, or I’d feel like I’m about to drown in all that stone.”

The idol makes a face. Not exactly the kind of description she had in mind. “Yes, I was sort of expecting some ‘deep ass poetic moment’, which I didn’t get.” She snickered before she approaches him, standing beside him to look at the view herself. “Ah, no wonder. This is the kind of view that deep words can’t describe: it’s junk.” She snorted. She wasn’t one to use vile language, but the view really was disappointing. After all, she did want to take a picture of it, but this didn’t seem note-worthy at all.

“Not me, I swear.” He snorted. It was definitely not where he had supposed to end up, and he figured it was either time to improvise or admit that he was lost. “Is it a nice change that you’d like to keep, or will you help me get back home?”

She’d help him get home, but then again, if she were to do that, the pair might just get lost in the middle of nowhere. “I have to say it is a nice change.. only because I literally have no sense of direction and can never help you get home.”

Zeph lifted his gaze from the phone he had been toying with. (The power was off to save the battery, but that didn’t stop him from fiddling with it.) The boy was tall and babyfaced, a little nervous perhaps, but who wasn’t when approaching a complete stranger with a blunt question such as this one. Zeph grinned.

“D’ya think a fine piece of man meat such as me would be single?” he asked. “It’s your lucky day, ‘cos I am. Did you fall in love all sudden?”

There was nothing wrong with approaching total strangers, Junhong thought. Especially when a group of people you went to a club with is too busy throwing up in the toilet after having too many rounds of Rumple Minze. It sure tasted like a candy cane, a deceptive flavor that promised childhood but ended with poisoning. He could only thank his ability to say no, as well as his physical conditions; the amount of shots he’d had made him tipsy but not drunk. It was a nice state where he’d remember everything he says while becoming more open.

“Nah, I just wanted to make sure your potential girlfriend, or boyfriend.” He added, a bit hopeful. “Wouldn’t beat me up just for being near you. So mind if I sit right there? My friends are totally no fun when it comes to partying.”
