Hello my friends, meet Zendara.

She is a giant badass in the new game Immortals of Aveum.

Immortals was made by Ascendent Studios- a collection of ex-dev's from Sledgehammer Games and Telltale Studios. I was lucky enough to work on it for about two years till the pandemic stress took me out.

Ascendent is an INDEPENDENT STUDIO. EA is publishing them, but Ascendent is it's own studio. We worked in an office with all twenty of us sitting together, there was a lot of collaboration. It's not a flat org, but it feels like what a flat org should feel like.

What I'm saying is, if you are in the market for something new and like FPS, please give it a chance. BG3 is amazing and is also an independent studio. If you want more independent studios sticking around, then please, show them some support. Check it out.

Reblogs would be appreciated! I feel like the game would appeal to the tumblr crowd, not just because of Zendara, but because Jak's actor is adorable, and the colossus is super hot.
