she hails from merthyr tydfil in wales and is one of six kids (three older brothers, her, and then a younger sister a younger brother
growing up as the middle child of six, cerys is relatively used to being in the background and doing her own thing. her siblings would often fight for attention from her parents, and she’d be off somewhere drawing or something
she dreamed of working within the tv industry for most of her life, participating in all of her school productions as a member of the crew, opting to stay within her comfort zone rather than stepping into the spotlight
her family’s time in wales has been relatively shit tbh??
it started off with the aberfan mining disaster of 1966 – her grandfather was one of the 144 people who were killed during the collapse of the colliery spoil tip, leaving her father orphaned from a very young age (and obviously cerys never met her grandfather)
the disaster still haunts merthyr tydfil and its families to this day, and it was definitely a difficult tragedy for her family to overcome
eventually though, they overcame it and then along came cerys and her siblings
they say that lightning never strikes the same place twice but disaster clearly does 🙃
after heavy downpour in october of 2006, merthyr tydfil was subject to severe flash flooding and, you guessed it, the jones’ family home was all-but destroyed in the floods
taking it as a hint and not wanting to risk a third disaster, mama eirianwen and papa hywel made the decision to up and move their family far, far away from merthyr tydfil. being that four of their six kids had dreams of working within the tv and film industry, they moved to los angeles when cerys was 14
she quickly settled into school and knew exactly what she wanted to do, studying art all through education
she then attended the los angeles film school and continued her studies to gain a degree in animation with a focus on visual effects
after getting her degree at 21, she worked her way up in the industry, starting off with smaller projects and working underneath senior artists, until she moseyed on over to zenith to work as a visual effects artist on final destination

it was a really fast paced but fun environment and grace really loved connecting to the elderly people and hearing all their stories--she’d come home from work and ignore her homework just to fabricate a story that one of the residents had told her, using her imagination to make things more interesting
surprisingly, grace volunteered to help the residents put on a play (despite her reservations toward anything involving lights and camera and....action.

he was born in bel-air, california, to super rich parents arthur and helen brady
probably won’t realise you’re talking to him if you call him lawrence – lance or brady is probs your best bet
he’s the oldest of three kids, with a younger brother and sister (who he’s super protective over)
okay now for the fun part (or not so fun?? depends whose side you look at it from)
so the brady bunch are absolutely nothing like the brady bunch. think more the peaky blinders
the brady family are incredibly well-off, but they didn’t exactly come about their money in the most legitimate fashion. there’s a more in-depth backstory at the bottom of lance’s bio page here but tldr:
papa arthur was involved in gambling and owed a lot of money to the wrong people. by dealing with the issue and disposing of the problem, he gained a reputation for himself. there was one incident after the birth of his 3 kids, when his wife was shot and killed by a bullet intended for him, leaving the kids without a mother.
his youngest son is serving a stretch in prison for multiple counts of grand larceny, extortion and assault. whilst arthur’s daughter remains on the right side of the law, for the most part, lawrence has had more than a few run-ins.
frequently through school, he was involved in fights and was suspended on more than one occasion.
as he got older, lawrence learned to deal with matters while keeping his own hands clean. he’s the literal definition of ‘it’s not what you know, it’s who you know’. dirty cops, drug dealers, contract killers – you name it, lance probably knows a guy. that way, he keeps his hands – and more importantly, his reputation – clean, but still gets the job done. it’s a side to him that almost nobody knows, except for his family.
the side of him that everybody knows, however, is the rugged, stoic actor.
acting for lawrence began when he was essentially forced into being a stage-hand for a school production as punishment after being suspended – a sort of community service, if you will.
