✴ Zenitsu is the kind of guy who likes head scratches after a long day of running away from demons because he is absolutely terrified. He will come over to you and present his head in your lap for you to scratch his head.

✴ When the weather is less than desirable outside, you will put on a movie for the both of you so you can spend time together. He will definitely be holding your hand, cuddling you, legs over your lap, etc.. just making contact with you someway. 

✴ When you two are in public for your quality time, he can sometimes become overwhelmed. He will bunch up your shirt in his hand and follow you around like a lost puppy. He will probably also dig his face into your back and let you lead the way.

✴ He is a sucker for being fed. Some nights, you will prepare various finger foods for him to try and feed them to him. To make it interesting, you will have him close his eyes and try to guess what you are feeding him based on the taste and smell. 

✴ He also really likes to help you cook. He is often found in the kitchen either by your side chopping the vegetables or simply watching you cook. He will make conversation with you about what is going on at the Corp, his friends etc.. He tries to memorize all of the steps to make your favorite dishes for you some day.

✴ When you do the chores around the house, he likes to follow you and watch. While you are doing laundry, he will comment about how each piece of clothing makes you look so beautiful. How this kimono brings out the color of your eyes, or how the pattern of this haori makes you look brighter, etc. 

✴ Kisses. He loves kisses. Whether it’s when you kiss his forehead, hands, cheeks, lips, etc.. It does not matter where, he absolutely craves that from you. Your kisses are heaven-send to him and he will tap on the place he wants you to kiss often as a non-verbal cue.

✴ Speaking of non-verbal cues, he uses those a lot. If he wants to hold your hand, he will hold it open and clench it before releasing it again to show you his palm. If he wants a head scratch or for you to play with his hair, he will simply point to his head on place it on your lap. He gets nervous around you often and sometimes cannot be verbal.

Zenitsu with a shark demon s/o (like they have fin ears and a shark tail and sharp teeth) with a habit of biting literally everything

This ask kinda reminded me of the shark demons from helluva boss!

Zenitsu x shark demon Reader

★ This boy was legitimately scared of you, and for good reason. You have a jaw full of spikey teeth, rough skin and a predatory look in your eyes. Anyone you met would try to kill you on sight. But he didn't (probably because he was paralyzed by fear)

★ You mostly say around ocean towns and hunt fish during the night. Like real-life sharks you are often feared, but ultimately harmless.

★ Fun fact, the salt in salt water makes the water molecules pull the sodium and chlorine ions apart, increasing the conductivity. Basically giving him the ability to make salt water electric with his attack. But this doesn't happen with fresh water.

★ He wants to get you something hard for you to gnaw on. You can grow back teeth really quickly, so he's not to worried about that. What he is worried about is you getting into trouble over chewing up people's things.

★ The closest thing he can find is a makeshift chew toy fashioned out of a carved horse bone, and then turned into a necklace. And you know what? It actually gets the job done while managing to look pretty!

★ He might try and teach you some self defense moves that he learned from Shinobu, in exchange you tech him how to swim.

He loves how overprotective you are so much. He's a bit overprotective too so he understands how overprotective you get. It makes his heart race whenever you get overprotective it makes him feel so safe he gets all flustered whenever you get overprotective some people might find it annoying how protective you are when it comes to Obanai but he doesn't mind at all. It's the little things you do that he loves. Like whenever he comes home from a mission you come up to him and check if he has any wounds or when you go on missions with him to make sure he doesn't get hurt

Kanao

She feels so appreciated omg. Sometimes she does think you take it a bit far sometimes she'll just pat you on the shoulder if she thinks you're taking it a bit too far but that's very rare most of the time she just kind of stands there. She does get kind of flustered whenever you get protective but she's really good at hiding it.

Zenitsu

He loves it. He adores it even. He feels so appreciated he hasn't had anyone be so loyal and protective of him before. You always come on missions with him to make sure he doesn't get hurt and it makes him so happy. "Y/nnn your so sweet!!! Nobody's ever cared about me the way you do" You don't even need to be that overprotective of him because you get most of his attention anyways but your protectiveness comes in handy a lot.

Zenitsu meeting his gf's parents?

He's a ball of nerves omg. He's sweating shaking everything he's so nervous. Your mom opened the door and greeted you and then greeted Zenitsu. Next, your siblings ran up to the door to greet you "sisters here sisters here!!!" they said running up to you and hugging you. They just waved at Zenitsu and he waved back. He tries really hard to get along with your family they obviously mean a lot to you and he wants them to like him. Your mom loves him. Zenitsu helped you and your mom finish cooking dinner your dad just kind of stared at him suspiciously at first. But during dinner, your father started asking him a lot of questions. "Zenitsu do you really love my daughter!?" "yes, sir I promise I do!!" After dinner, your siblings wanted to play with you outside so you brought Zenitsu with you and the both of you played tag with your siblings till the sun set.

Would be confused

Would wake you up

You and Inosuke have been together for quite some time now; like before final selection. Inosuke didn’t know what his feelings meant toward you, but he had always wanted to protect you and be near you, so you finally got the courage to ask him out (after you explained what he was feeling was love.)

You were taken in by the old man that had a soft spot for Inosuke growing up, he took you in after your clan got killed infront of your eyes. You ran away, and he has been there ever since. Watching such a traumatic thing, has always brought you sleeping issues.

You were breathing heavy as you tossed and turned back and forth in the futon you shared with Inosuke, Inosuke is far from a light sleeper, but for some reason you shuffling more than you usually do woke him up.

He was confused by your scared look, he began to shake you trying to wake you up. You shot up with a gasp turning to face the boy with a great amount of fear in your face.

“What’s wrong!?” He practically yelled as he began to feel you head; something shinobu used to do to him when he was unwell. “I’m sorry Inosuke, I just had a bad dream.” You whispered as you laid back down with you back facing him; you were embarrassed that the dreams got so out of hand.

You felt his arms wrap around your waist, “are you okay? I didn’t mean to scare you..” he whispered placing soft kisses on you neck (not sexually; in a comforting way.)

You felt tears stream down your face as you turned to put your face in his chest while you continued to cry silently.

“Let it out babe.. I’m right here..”

Zenitsu:

Would cry thinking about you in pain

Would be really sweet

Zenitsu adored you from the day he saw you, but unlike all the other girls, he toned it down significantly for you. He wouldn’t beg for you love, instead he tried to earn it.

Zenitsu has been going on a lot of missions, so you’ve been left at home. You’ve been having horrid dreams about Zenitsu dying at a mission, ever since he got poisoned in the spider forest.

Zenitsu walked into your shared room at the butterfly mansion to see you shaking and sweating, he hurried over to you, worried you were sick without him. “Baby! What’s wrong?!” He exclaimed as he turned you over to see you sleeping.

He calmed down, leaning down to press a kiss on your forehead. He began to move your hair to the side out of your face, as he left the room to get a cool towel to cool you down.

When he came back in the room you were sitting straight up, breathing heavy. When the door opened, you turned your head to the side to see your lover. Your lip quivered as you sat on the ground, unable to move from your current spot, Zenitsu..?” You whimpered as you reached out to him.

He rushed over to your side, pushing your head into his chest, as he wrapped his arms around your body. “I was so scared you died..” you sobbed into his chest, feeling a weight lift off his shoulder.

“I will always come back to you, love.” He spoke as he felt tears fall down his cheeks as he held you closer; you meant the world to him.

Tanjiro:

Would try to comfort you in your sleep

Would comfort you till you calmed down

Tanjiro has always had a soft spot for you; he saved you at the entertainment district, and ever since you haven’t wanted to leave his side. You were sold multiple times, but the last time, Tanjiro was there to save you. You felt like you owed him.

You laid beside tanjiro having a dream about the last time you were sold; it was the worst of all. He was quite abusive toward you, you didn’t think you’d make it out alive.

Tanjiro could smell that you were in distress; it was so heavy it woke him up. He wrapped his arms around your waist, rubbing circles in your waist. You woke up with a gasp, feeling Tanjiro’s arms around you.

You sighed and began to cry silently; hoping not to wake him. “Are you okay, dear?” He whispered in your ear as he continued to rub your hip softly. “I’m fine love, it was just a bad dream.”

“It’s okay, I have them too, let it out beautiful.” He whispered as he soothes you, kissing your head.

It’d take him a bit to work up the courage to play for you. Perhaps you discovered his talent after the events of the Red Light District. As he was recovering, maybe you brought up how talented he was, and we all know how Zenitsu reacts to praise.

He’s reduced to putty. He practices and practices, learning as many songs as he can. And thanks to his wonderful hearing, he can memorize songs instantly.

Finds you the sweetest love songs and performs them just for you, yelling at other guys to “Back off! Can’t you see we’re busy!”

At first, his voice may be a bit pitchy because he’s nervous. But once you reassure him that you appreciate the hard work he put into the songs, it’s like night and day. Hitting both low and high notes with perfect accuracy.

And when he really, really can’t hold it anymore, he’ll maybe even write his own love songs for you. 💜

Some headcanon of what kyojuro, tanjiro, zenitsu, inosuke, genya, and mitsuri are like with a reader who is a geisha (a traditional Japanese performer who entertains at parties or banquets and is NOT to be confused with prostitution)

Kyojuro/Kamaboko Squad/Genya/Mitsuri x Geisha!Fem!Reader

Kyojuro: He's very vocal, beaming with pride as he compliments you. From your hair, to your makeup, to your grace, all of it is sure to earn his praise. Thanking you whenever you fill up his cup with another drink, or bring him another plate of food.

Tanjiro: Listens and learns as you explain the very specific rules that come with being a geisha. One of his favorite things is watching you dance. And if he's really lucky, Nezuko may wake up and dance alongside you. Proud, happy boi. :,)

Inosuke: He'll assume you're weak...this goes from what happened in Season 2 so please don't be too upsetti about this conclusion. He doesn't understand why there are so many rules, why you have to paint your face. But there is something he does like: all the shiny things in your hair. He may swat at them like a cat and even bring you more shinies he's found on his travels.

Zenitsu: Fawning and squealing over you. Telling you how beautiful you are. His favorite thing to do with you is practice songs with you. He's a wonderfully gifted shamisen player, and hearing you sing as he plays the instrument fills him with so much joy and happiness, it's the one time that he's not shouting praise at you.

Genya: Bashful boi. It's difficult, close to impossible, for him to keep eye contact with you. His face is flushed, his palms are sweaty (no wait, all of him is sweaty), and he's silent. "That was nice," is all he can make out once you finish your performance. But just now that his heart is ready to explode.

Mitsuri: She would beg for you to teach her your ways! Putting on makeup alongside you, giggling as you style each other's hair. She may trip a few times as you teach her the dances, but it's so much fun!

Zenitsu x Gender Neutral!Reader

Bugging the Insects

Zenitsu hates bugs. They terrify him. They gross him out. And after the mission on Mount Natagumo, he’s even worse.

Screaming and running away whenever he hears the fluttering of the insect’s wings or a twitching of their mandibles, he’s out of there in an instant.

I recommend baby steps with him. Introduce him by showing him a picture or a drawing of a bug. Then show him what it looks like in real life.

He still won’t be able to bring himself to hold it just yet. But seeing how you’re so intrigued by it as it crawls along your hand, it’ll motivate him to be just a little braver for you.
