stanley:

-42 years old (as of 2024)

-english teacher

-not legally married to hector but calls him his husband anyways

-moved to illinois for college and stayed there w hector (reasons to move: texas too conservative, also bad climate)

-still keeps in touch w some d tent guys (keeps in touch meaning 'has them added on facebook')

hector:

-41 yrs old

-software engineer and part time guitarist

-didnt go to college in illinois but was long distance w st and moved in w him afterwards

-doesnt rlly talk to the d tent guys (doesnt have facebook, he says that 'everything is fake these days' and hes right)

-only has like 2 friends (both from college)

relationship hcs:

-hector confessed

-their whole camp green lake case became pretty famous in the country and stanley's students are aware that that was him

-stanley knew he liked hector since the mountain, hector knew he liked stanley since camp

-hector has rym music taste organically (bjork and radiohead) and stanley just listens to random rock playlists

-stanley uses pet names but hector js calls him by his name

-college was a rough patch for them bc long distance be longdistancing
