Now... to get Zenmarket to buy that Goro nui for me, this is what I did:

I first get the link from the official site that is selling the Goro nui. The link should go to a page that shows the merch, the price, and the ability to "add to cart".

The link to the Goro nui is this: https://ebten.jp/p/s/4984995906461

So I entered this link in the Zenmarket search bar.

A popup modal will show up. For the description, I entered the title of the Goro nui from the ebten site:

P5R ぬいぐるみキーホルダー（明智吾郎）

Translation: P5R Plushie Keychain (Akechi Goro)

Then I clicked on the "Add" button.

That item will be added in the "Main" section of my Zenmarket account. It will have a status where Zenmarket will verify the price of the Goro nui in the link I sent them.

After Zenmarket confirms the price, I will have to pay them to buy the Goro nui.

After I paid the amount, Zenmarket will proceed to buy the Goro nui for me. If the status turns to "Bought", then that means Zenmarket has successfully bought it.

and that's how I was able to order the Goro nui! Hope that helps! 👋

I want to try using proxy services (mainly zenmarket due to reviews?) so I can get some rare merch

But I've never used it at all and didn't even know about it until recently

If anyone could give me some tips on things about like shipping, paying, ordering, y'know things like that—it'd be super appreciated <3

First four pictures are of things I got through zenmarket, which is a Japanese proxy shipping site and I highly recommend it if you like merch for things bc you can find it for super cheap compared to ebay/amazon. Last picture is two charms from goodsrepublic which I also recommend because they have good merch, constant updates, and free shipping. It’s also easier to navigate than zenmarket, but things on goodsrepublic are a ton more expensive than stuff you can get through zenmarket most of the time. I have two more packages coming from zenmarket since I’ve been hoarding stuff in their warehouse for a bit and I can’t wait to get them. Gonna be Shoutan stuff and other Utapri stuff!

Hi hi everypaca~! So a latest update, when I ordered the maid cafe Alpacasso, two of them came without a necklace. Since I'm new to Zenmarket (a Japanese Proxy) I wanted to know how they would deal with this situation. I'm pleased to say it went smoothly: I sent the two back and they got them replaced. Of course I had to pay about $30+ for shipping there and back but I was genuinely curious to see what they would deal with the missing necklace and wanted to know if they would come through. Although my haul from Japan has been scarce compared to before, when I do purchase I know who to go to now!

Today I took photos of the 2 maids that came in today though half way the wind blew my camera and killed my lens T__T *sob* hopefully I can get it fixed and it won't be too expensive.

Hetalia Buy Guide: List of Forwarders and Proxies (+ Proxy Review)

Sometimes you see something really awesome but the shop doesn’t offer international shipping. You have the funds, what to do?

To start off, let me define the difference between a forwarder and a proxy. A forwarder simply ships the product to you. Lets say that the shop in question accepts paypal but they do not ship overseas. A forwarder will give you a temporary address that you can send your package to and then the forwarder will charge you a storage fee + international shipping to send the package back to you.

A proxy on the other hand will buy the item on your behalf, accept the package for you and then ship it out to you. Using a proxy is more expensive BUT I highly recommend it for first time buyers (especially if you have anxiety or just nervous about online shopping in general). A proxy will charge you purchase fees + domestic shipping + international fees + any additional necessary fees.

To sum it up: A forwarder provides you an address to ship the package to, you pay for the item by yourself, and you pay the forwarder for international shipping costs and forwarding fees. A proxy will pay for your item on your behalf, accept your package, and ship it out for you.

There are many different forwarders and proxy services available, so here is a small list I found. Some businesses offer both proxy and forwarding service while others only do forwarding or proxy. I’ve only used 1 service (ZenMarket) so I cannot answer any questions/asks about other services on the list.

Now, let me give a review of a proxy that I recently used: Zen Market. The review is under the cut

So today, I’m going to review ZenMarket. For me, I highly recommend using this service if this is your first time using these services since everything is in English and it’s easy to purchase goods.

When you sign up for a ZenMarket account, you get 300 yen in your account which can be used to pay your balance. you should see this pop up when you visit the website for the first time. (Put in your email and then it will ask for a password for your account creation).

To buy items, simply copy and paste the url of what you want and then you wait (no more than 12 hours) for ZenMarket to send you a quote (the quote includes the item cost, any domestic shipping costs, and the 300 yen per item fee). Once you see the quote, you load up your account with money (There are several ways to do so, either directly by PayPal, Credit, Card, etc.) to add money, simply click on the “Payments” tab to add money. You should see something like this. (direct image link in case it’s too small to see) [Ignore the 2,400 yen in the screenshot, it’s just my balance].

After paying for the items, that’s it! Now you just have to wait for your items to arrive. You can store your items for 45 days for free, after that you are charged 50 yen per day, up to an additional 45 days. After the 90th day, your items are thrown away with no compensation.

Advantages to using ZenMarket for Beginners

No service fees (some proxies charge an additional percentage fee on top of a purchasing fee.)
