just got into hatchetfield, created a little family of ocs, and current obsessed with my ocs to the point i've crafted a rough mini-musical for them. i prbly need help but this is too much fun :D anyways what're your ocs like? i can share mine to be even
that's so cool! Hatchetfield is the first time I've really made fandom ocs, it's such a fun and easy setting to plop a brain blorbo into. people get so creative and have such interesting ideas. I'd definitely love to hear about your ocs if you wanna share!
and I can give little rundowns for each of mine! okay let's see uhhhh-
Zero is the adopted son of the Murray family, he's Linda's shitty younger brother. he was orphaned after his mother Brenda won the 1996 Honey Queen Pageant and was sacrificed to Nibbly. Roman adopted him and raised him to worship Nibbly, and eventually be his successor in carrying out the rituals - perpetuating the system that killed his mom. molded into the perfect son, he's Roman's favorite and he'll do anything to maintain that favor. he's loyal and obedient to a fault, and he's incredibly devoted to serving Nibbly. it's what gives his life meaning, it's what he's good for. needless to say he's deep in denial about everything. he and Linda hate each other but also understand each other. they grew up fighting and throwing each other under the bus for a scrap of their father's praise, but also sharing knowing looks and hiding each other's biggest fuckups. nowadays they get along best wine-drunk and shit-talking.
Zero works at CCRP as an accountant and he has a crush on Paul. he's quiet, irritable, and arrogant, but can be surprisingly pleasant if you're on his good side. nobody knows quite what it means to be on his good side, but Charlotte and Paul and Bill are on it, apparently. he spends his free time at the Birdhouse picking up guys and/or getting shitfaced. he plays piano and writes poetry. sometimes he kills people. all of the time he sucks <3
Tia is part of Hatchetfield High's cool clique, she plays soccer and volleyball and she's a junior - a year younger than all her closest friends. she's been friends with Kyle and Jason since childhood, and earned Max's favor by being genuinely unafraid of him, and kicking him in the nuts when he tried to pick on her. now nobody messes with her because Max is in her corner, and she likes being untouchable. she has an older sister she's close to named Elise who moved away for college and rarely visits, and that shift left Tia VERY anxious about change and people drifting away from her. she's very attached to her friends and can be a bit clingy, knowing most of them are going to graduate and leave soon. she's terrified of the future and thinks the prime of her life is now, she doesn't want to move on. makes a certain yellow goat very interested in her.
Tia loves puzzles, board games, and card games, she likes to knit and she's learning to bake. she's competitive but a good sport, she loves a challenge. she's popular within the popular clique - Brenda and Stacey love her, the smoke club kids love her, Steph loves her. she has a crush on Steph and sometimes they date <3 she's very sweet and friendly and sociable, but she has a mean streak. being friends with Max makes it worse. Tia doesn't realize how bad he is, plus they have some things in common and they very much enable each other. there IS an opposite effect too - Max's nicer side sometimes shows more around Tia. she can be clueless, it makes her come off as VERY two-faced. she's a sweet girl at heart though.
Faren is Hatchetfield High's librarian and also a werewolf. has been since she was a teenager, when she wandered too far into the woods on a camping trip and came across a rabid timberwolf that attacked her. she lay bleeding out on the forest floor and prayed desperately to whoever, whatever would listen to please save her, she didn't want to die. apparently something was listening, because she woke up the next morning without clothes, her fatal wounds healed into scars, but her mouth covered in blood. her prayers were answered, her life was saved in exchange for her humanity. Faren has no idea who or what did this to her, and her goal for years has been to find out.
Faren is very mellow and easygoing. she doesn't let much get to her - she can't, her lycanthropy reacts to her temper so she has to always have it under control. she's inquisitive and helpful, she's friendly, and she's very well-read. she has an interest in Hatchetfield's history and myths, as well as nature, animals, and history in general. she's friends with Tom and she's in a book club with Duke. in some timelines she wakes up the morning after a full moon on Emma's pot farm, having eaten a bunch of Emma's weed. Emma becomes the only person other than Faren's parents who knows about her lycanthropy, and they slow-burn until they start dating <3
