Yoni Silver is a clarinettist and multi-instrumentalist who plays regularly with Sharon Gal, Steve Noble, Mark Sanders, Tom Wheatley, Grundik Kasyansky and is a long-time member of Iancu Dumitrescu and Ana Maria Avram's Hyperion Ensemble. https://youtu.be/L0sNfcuTyHw FAR RAINBOW Kosmische improvising duo of Emily Mary Barnett (drums/percussion/things) and Bobby Barry (electronics, small objects, electrical appliances) released their debut cassette last year. According to Paul Margree's We Need No Swords blog, "It brings to mind the free-spirited electronic kosmische musik that Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius may have created in their Cluster heyday if they had King Tubby rather than Conny Plank producing it." farrainbow.bandcamp.com We will also be showing two short films by ABIGAIL SIDEBOTHAM a graduate of the Royal College of Art who has exhibited in galleries throughout Europe, including Michael Hoppen, London, Villa Romana, Florence, and the Centre for Contemporary Art, Prague & SIMONE ROWAT, a graduate of the Slade and RCA, whose films have been screened at the London Short Film Festival, Firestone International Experimental Film Festival, Moscow, and Aesthetica Short Film Festival, York. This event is free, but all donations will go to the participating artists.
