gonna look back at all these doodles when the game comes out and feel a bit silly thinking this is where the plot would be going. yet:

Hoping for the final boss to be Kirby as hell, music also.

now looking at this it does look like ribbon infused with dark matter and or Zero² .

So according to Nintendo, Zero and 02 has possibly no personal relationship with eachother, and 02 maybe simply took Zero’s place after they fell.

02 might have just salvaged and modified that white.. .shell,let’s call it a shell, after Zero abandoned it for speed or was too damaged for use by Kirby for the remainder of that fight.

Note the bandage on 02′s form indicating it was likely constructed using the remain’s of Zero’s white parts.

What I wonder is how 02 in this scenario got the position as new ruler of Dark Matter. Was there an election? Did they receive a notice in the mail?

Given Dark Nebula is called Dark Zero in Japan, I wonder if they are a predecessor using a star shape shell. Given how 02 apparently patched up and modified 0′s shell, these things likely aren’t easy to make from scratch.
