Cross team match Playthrough

Part 8: Helping out girls is dangerous and something smells fishy. (I’m not dead haha)

The day starts wth everyone in the middle of a practice, until Villager B is asked to help out the Karasuno managers with getting some drinks for everybody, so we leave together with Kiyoko and Yachi. Villager B is the mule for the job and they make it back with little set backs.

But back in Karasuno however, Kiyoko protection squad gets hold of Villager B and question him about what he did. Sawamura and Kuroo are quick to put an end to it though. Kiyoko too gave them her dissapproval of the events.

So Villager B is off the hook, even though he did nothing wrong in the first place...

Random events:

First of Kageyama and Hinata training, Suga and Yachi give some comments on the side and are a bit stressed if another fight (the manga training camp one) would repeat itself or not.

Kenma tells on his summertime memories.... on how he beat a game, and it was difficult since Kuroo was always pestering him to practice (I feel you Kenma, video games are good summer pass time lol)

Kuroo is in 50% so he asks for Kenma. (this is the beginning of a downfall lol)

Tsukishima tells his view on Nekoma.

Bokuto tells on some summer memories (he got sick  because he played with his full strenght too much lol)

Lastly with Kenma we talked about the last days tournament.

After this I saved and reset so many times I lost track what events I had on the day and what I reset on after realizing my mistakes so bear with me. The next part  might be without any random encounters for the day because of this (I got sidetracked and aimed for one goal, y’know what lol)

The day ends with some talk on the tournament itself. We find out that the tournament will be held in the Karasuno sports stadium (the big place). We also find out that there is a price to be won at the end of tournament.

Shimada-san also comes into tell that there will be a all you can eat buffet for a price sponsored by his business. Aaand of course the meat lovers go nuts at this revelation.

We also find out about a special guest arriving, but that is a surprise for a later date~

Scenes I liked:

Suga and Sawamura commenting on Asahis nervousness.

Hekochoko lol.

My thoughts on the game:

I really felt uncomfortable with the Yamamoto, Tanaka and Noya scene. I never heeded this behavior much mind since kiyoko is normally dodging it perfectly, but in this she outright showed her disapproval so I got a bit uncomfortable with this. (there were a few more scenes like this at future parts but won’t mention them after this.)

Fucking up the games free time though was a bad mistake, but not game breaking thankfully.

Ushijima comes in my face and boldly claims that any team he is in will win.

Kid, you came to the wrong neighborhood. I have mastered the game cheese, you’ll end up regretting it.

Aaand he did.

I finished the game with this and am now playing this over and over in quick sessions to get every single scene open. (there will be playthrough updates when more normal scenes open)

Part 7: Of 20 km warm up run and I screwed up my game.

Villager B is feeling great today. The weather is nice, he feels rested after the day of practice matches, so... he just casually decides to RUN 20 KM to Karasunos school.

Needless to say he’s nearly puking by the time he makes it to the school. When the topic of running came up, the three dorks, Hinata, Kageyama and Bokuto decided to race the 20 km run... (thanks to Akaashis small comment on not knowing on if you haven’t ran it)

After a while of practicing without the 3 dorks Takeda asks Villager B for a bit of help at the school gates. Turns out the three dorks made it back, now crawling by the school gates totally out from it from the running. Takeda needs help carrying the dorks inside.

(I’ll take this whole scene in it’s completion in a different post, since this whole situation in it’s completion is just too much lolol.)

Then to the random events, this time with Sawamura.

We scout Sawamuras former teammate and friend Ikejiri. He told on his current pondering on what he should do after high school since his volley ball career ended already.

Ennoshita recruiting consisted on Sawamura insuring that Ennoshita is the person you should turn to if you have any problems (a reliable one) whilst Ennoshita himself tries to assure you that he’s not that reliable.

Kuroo talks about managers, and how Yamamoto tried to recruit some girls to do the job. But Kuroo doesn’t care that much, Nekoma has done good so far so there really is no need.

(After this I royally screwed up my game and I blame Kuroo for it) 

(So when Kuroo reached 50% mark, you could go and approach him in an event. I figured it must be recruiting them to the team I went to check it out and it really is recruiting for the team. Kuroo needs Kenma to be there for a match so that he can be recruited... I understood this wrong and so I waited until Kenma was available to be talked to in the same space as Kuroo, when you really need to be on the scouting mission WITH KENMA TOGETHER. This also eats the 6/6 gauge on the sidebar, which determines how many times I can talk to characters... and I didn’t notice it... I ate away 2 conversation possibilities since I am dumb as shit. But that’s not all... I did it again the next day too ∠( ᐛ 」∠)＿ this playthrough went to shits right here. But I’ll fix it.)

Moving on the random events.

The last event was with Kenma, he tells he doesn’t like club practice since they tire him out.

The day ends with talk about the Inter high tournament talk and how Omijihara did in that tournament. Some reminiscence from Karasuno on beating the 2-meter guy in a match, what it feel like to win and keep on playing and future pondering on next years tournament for Villager B.

The scenes I found funny:

Kuroo being worried for the 3 idiots who took of running the 20 km.

Kuroo being seriously worried for the 3 idiots. Sawamura doesn’t think they’ll overdo it.

We all saw how this turned out above lol. (will make a separate, translated post on this ater this week)

A really quick update since I just now got to a mock tournament match, where Aoba-Jousai school is an opponent, they took Bokuto from my team (sad), but after the first feeling of fear, I feel like this match will be a cakewalk.

Because they took LEV in there.

I have broken this games score system by aiming at Lev. every. single. time.

Part 6: Being the 35th wheel and ice cream.

(I also changed Villager B’s name into Villager B)

A new day after the previous 3 am shenannigans, Villager B arrives in good time, not too early nor too late. We find Hinata training with Kageyama and apparently they had a race this morning too. (they just never give up lol)

Takeda insists Villager B takes this day also a bit more lightly than yesterday so he’ll have more energy to play in the future also. Hinata on the other hand thinks it’s fine to get knocked out doing volleyball since they love that sport so much. Poor Takeda sensei with all these dorks in his team lol.

Villager B doesn’t get to participate in the practice match since they held it this time with official members of the club (In preparation for the Spring tournament). Villager B is the score handler in return. So we get to witness a match between Fukurodani and Karasuno. To Villager B witnessing Karasuno work from a third person perspective looks like a good team. He too wants to have that kind of team too. 

Villager B gets distracted enough to forget scoreboard job and Tsukishimas point almost became void (lol).

Then for the free roam part.

I went to get Kenma in my contact list with Hinata. The conversation is mostly on Kenma not caring for ranking orders in speech etc. so he should be called without honorfi. The topic deters to the mixed team making, and at that talk Kenma runs away :’D twice.

After that we went to fetch Futakuchi into contact list. He’s looking for his teammatse in the downtown. Some usual conversation openers: Hinatas height.

From there there is a mini event with Tsukishima where Hinata is in awe of Bokutos spiking, so he asks Villager B to do some spiking practice with him. To this Tsukishima laughs that “Shouldn’t you focus more on blocking since you’re MB too? MB who can only spike is laughable.” This exchange ends into Tsukishima commenting on Hinatas height “can you grow 40 cm before October?” (bless these little boys)

After that it’s an event with Suga, where he successfully makes Kageyama and Hinata stop their bickering, when Hinata comments on Kageyamas smile being scary.

An event with Kuroo where we talk about his height. (or on his team in general)

Last event was with Bokuto talking about summer.

The day ends with everyone going for ICE CREAM! Team captains are offering their teammates one each, but since Villager B is alone in his team, every team captain bought him one. 

Hinata thinks it’s unfair lol. So he gets a bite and ends up with getting a brain freeze.

Scenes I found funny:

Akaashi commenting on Bokutos mood swings on the court during the practice match.

Kenma running away when talk deters to playing more.

The difference in ice cream tastes.

Thoughts on the game:

I really like this now, the absence of practice matches for the player was questionable at first, but it happens when you’re recruiting other team members to your mixed team. That’s on the next updates.

The next part is a real treat, I’ll go a bit more in depth in the morning shenanigans in that so stay tuned :’D I can say that Hinata, Kageyama and Bokuto are total idiots and I can’t take this game.

I also fucked up my game at the next day mark so I’m very sorry.

Cross team match Playthrough

Part 5: Of vegetables and passing out.

Finally Villager B is the first one to arrive.... at 3 am to a closed school gates, only to be chased after by the security person after practicing outside the school. He runs through somewhere safer and again starts practicing by himself. Ukai happens to drive by and totally questions Villager B’s sanity on volleyball lol.

Ukai is a nice coach so he offers Villager B some pass time by helping Ukai harvest the vegetable crop.

Later Hinata and Kageyama laugh at Villager B on being late and Tanaka even gives a punishment of flying receives for Tanaka doing “extra work” for coming early to practice lol.

After it’s once again free roaming time. Again I chose Tsukishima to go and get some points for the 3rd gym personel (so I can recruit them fast), but before that there was an event with exclamation mark with Hinata so I went there first.

Tsukishima continuously blocking Hinata and giving some snide remarks on Hinata. Hinata is clearly frustrated, but then Tsukishima gives him really good advice “Do you even use your head? How about using that thing you learned earlier” Which Hinata realizes what it meant (It’s Bokutos rebound). “Ha ha haa, You’re truly foolish to give advice to your enemy, Tsukishima!” “....What are you even talking about?”

I have a talk with Tsukishima and the topic is about his height. Not very interesting topic to talk on honestly. Not even for him.

Bokuto is as hyper as ever, to practice of course.

After that Villager B and Kuroo reminiscence on how summer vacations are only volleyball training for them. Kuroo mentions on dragging Kenma out to play with him when they were kids (although Kenma hasn’t changed that much from those days).

Talk with Akaashi are toward next years spring tournament, mainly on the fact that will Villager B take part in that. And finally Kuroo tells about his love for Mackerel pike and teaches us how to make the perfect dish out from it.

After that the individual training period is over and it’s time for practice matches. Although there is a bit of time before it, Villager B offers to go fetch some drinks for all since they ran out. So Villager B makes his way to Ukais shop.

Ukai comments on how tired Villager B is and insists that Villager B doesn’t participate in the practice match and after delivering the drinks goes to rest (since he stayed up all night for the “who arrives first at 3 am” thing.)

Villager B is about to return to the gym, until a wild Aone appears and scares him shitless. Enough shitless that Villager B passes out.

Although Aone was only delivering Villager B’s student ID card which he dropped last time he got scared of Aone. (this boy!)

After Villager B wakes up, Ukai insists that he goes to rest after delivering the drinks. (also gives drinks for free because of the help with the vegetables)

Back at the gym the match is already over... ∠( ᐛ 」∠)＿

Villager B explains why he was late (”I passed out since I stayed up the whole night in ordr to be here at 3 am”) and after everyone hearing about this, Tanaka is shocked on hearing of it and Daichi gives Tanaka, Hinata and Kageyama a scolding for making this situation possible lol.

The day is pretty much over at that point. again without a practice match.

Scenes I found funny

When Bokuto comes along and suggest that he and Akaashi come at 3 am which Akaashi immediately declines.... so Bokuto goes to ask Kuroo and Kuroo too gives the cold shoulder: “If you want to practice at 3 am then throw a ball above your futon if you must”.

Bless these boys srsly.

Cross team match Playthrough

Part 4: Free roaming and I’m hopeless.

(this time no practice match to play)

This day wasn’t so eventful since there wasn’t a practice match to participate in, but getting free reign over how I spent the day was something really awesome. Although I went specifically after the 3rd gym squad (kuroo, bokuto and akaashi) I quickly came to realize that you really have to talk to different characters many times before they join you on your super team quest (besides Karasuno members that is, they’re your friends right at the start lol)

The day begins with Villager B getting to the practice site again early, but no one is there again. This time though Kiyoko comes in and they discuss together on Villager B joining the normal training, not just the practice matches since villager B doesn’t have a team to do that with. Coach Ukai agrees to it since Villager B is so eager to practice.

This leads to the “Who makes it first to the practice” conversation, where Hinata demands on getting to practice at 4 am, whilst Kageyama joins in the banter and says it should be 3 am. So in the end it’s a race again who can get to the practice the very first lol.

Someone help these two dorks.

For the daily social link quest I chose Tsukishima to go and hunt for the  3rd gym people. And there is right of the bat a possibility to go and talk to every one of them, so I did in order. First of we get to meet Kuroo who is super polite at introductions that I couldn’t contain my laughter at it (Full conversation coming on later).

Then we get to meet Bokuto better (again with the 5th best thing lol, I’m going to translate the full conversation for this in a separate post) pestering Tsukki to practice with him together with Kuroo.

Bless this man.

And lastly Akaashi, who is really soft spoken and polite, and he apologizes for the trouble Bokuto can make in the future. (Again a separate post incoming)

After that I mainly ran after Kuroo and got him to tell that he’s looking forward to being in Villager B’s random team, together with just about anyone. He also thought that it would be fun to be on a same team as Daichi since he’s a person who’s also crafty lol (Kuenai taipu). Kuroo also talks about Lev a bit, mostly about his practice menu (I think this conversation was on the teaser trailers also) which was hilarious non the less.

The day ends with Villager B bonding together with Hinata over the same circumstances as what Hinata had in middle school. Hinata is moved to tears, since he knows the feels. True friendship right here.

Scenes I found funny:

Yaku kicking Lev because of comment to height. You deserve it Lev.

Thoughts so far:

A bit disappointed on not getting a practice match at the end of the day, I feel like something was left out. But onward to a new day we go! Maybe there will be another match to play. My save file is right now at 1% completion, and I have no idea how the hell you’re supposed to get that 100%.

Maybe you repeat the 2 weeks endlessly. We are in the volleyball limbo here, you can never escape until you’re 100% friends with everyone.

Part 3: More characters and Fukurodani was easy as hell.

(that only point was Tsukishimas serve hitting the net, nothing more lol)

Last time I forgot to mention that wild Datekou made and appearance at the end. Sorry about that

On to the new day we are still recruiting people for the super powerful team, but again everyone is away when Villager B comes to the training camp.This time we get to spend some quality time with Suga! (sorry the next pictures are a bit too light, I forgot to close my curtains)

But Sugamama is there for us and suggest we go outside together. So today we go recruiting with Suga for other characters. First of Kageyama!

Well isn't kageyama a ball of shunshine lol !! Kageyama insist on focusing on training for the tournament, but just a namedrop about Hinata and kageyamas answer changes LOL Suga is scary help me.

Daichi agrees easily since he's the one who basically suggested the whole affair and Nishinoya is the best senpai ever, not caring about the circumstances and agrees just because Villager B asked them for help. Yamaguchi is soft spoken and agrees with little hesitation.

After that it's back to the practice matches and against fukurodani, so now it's against a good scorer, someone help me. Although I got to finally change the starting members I felt really anxious about this. Or not lol BOKUTO IS OUT FROM CONTROL, HE JUST SPIKES OVER THE LINES RIGHT OF THE BAT. Lol ok I take my words back, fukurodani was not a challenge :p

Buut the day is not over yet, enter namikawa daisuke desu aka Oikawa with a group of fangirls lol. PFFT "Not only girls fancy me, I also draw men to me, what a sinful being I am" Villager B is treated like Oikawas fan I can't even.

One signature on arm and fangirls later, Iwaizumi comes to pick up Oikawa.

Then for the scenes that I found funny:

First of all during Sawamuras recruiting, Hinata and Kageyama were again racing on who get’s to the club room first. Bickering ensues and angry papamura has to put an end to it lol.

Then dumping down Bokuto right before the match! The good old conversation on how Bokuto is the 5th best spiker, and Ushiwaka is the 3rd best lol.

Lol Akaashi just doesn’t go along with it.

And then there is Bokutos reaction after losing said match.

Sorry Bokuto, no time for rematches lol, I’m on tight schedule to play full 2 sets on 25 points.

Thoughts so far:

God I love this game. The next day I get to freeroam and choose the characters I spend time with and go to look for other characters. (Maybe we’ll get some from other teams too now that Karasuno is fully recruited)
