'Wag ka masyadong trying hard. Sino ka ba? Eh, ikaw lang naman 'yan.” Pero hindi ako nagpatinag; hindi ako tumigil. I didn’t let other people drag me down to the gutter and rule my life. I grew and became the better person when I entered UST. I fought through challenges; I learned how to trust the process in order to turn my dreams into reality. Almost 60,000 people heard the voice of this Growling Tiger and he will always dare to dream; will always Growl for Victory. 2017 taught me how to think and stand on my own feet; and that help is always on its way. All I had to do was ask. To everyone who believed in me and sacrificed their time for me just to make me into who I am today, I am grateful. My unending thanks to the beautiful people; to their wonderful spark of energy and their passion for doing everything it takes. The love never stopped. The support was overwhelming. Sometimes, I would always tell everyone and even myself, that I shouldn’t be afraid of anyone or anything. But the truth is, I’m just afraid of holding back. UST, you made me feel that every day is a new challenge to conquer and that the I can do anything and everything because the Lord is always in my presence, now and forever. To everyone out there who’s too afraid to face reality: I learned about life in UST.
