This is Zerry finding a new horse by the stables. I really like how chestnut greys look and I imagine Zerry would like them too once he saw it. I actually like how this turned out so I’m posting it here.
Zayn/Liam
[Liam is a mess, he fucked up big time and he just wanted to run away until he get it sorted and could face the world again, but Louis and Harry have other plans.]

Liam loves Zayn, like a brother, right. Well, that’s what he is telling himself for some time now. Harry and Louis got it all figured out and it was so obvious from the beginning. They complement each other. Did they fight, yes but its like they are magnets, they always end up together again, fixing it!
Zayn and him that’s a different story to begin with.
Yeah, at first, they were friends, at least that what Liam figured out. They got on so well, both not much of the talkers and their interests lined up, so it all was natural.
The more time they spent together, sleeping in the same bed, sharing so many secrets, dreams and fears with the other one, it just happened. Liam didn't even mean to fall in love and after he sort of recognized it, he truly tried to fight it. Avoiding Zayn during the time he got together with Perry and all the shit, the hardest part was when they got engaged. Liam was furious, that’s how Harry found out about his feelings for Zayn. Destroying his room in one of the stadiums, because Perry came to watch them and Liam couldn’t bear it.
Harry heard the noise and came over, Liam was a mess and Harry was there for him. He let him promise that this stays in this room forever and just between them.
To handle his anger and frustration he started working out, boxing was the perfect way to do so.
Harry started working out with him, they did lots of gym time. At one point Louis got so jealous about that so Harry told him. Liam felt so betrayed as he found out about Louis knowing it.
Zayn was in his own bubble. He mentioned it a few times, tho. Why they weren't hanging out as much as they used to. Liam told him some stupid white lies and Zayn bought it.
Liam and Louis started writing together as well, they are a great team when it comes to writing sessions. It made it even better after Lou knew about Liam’s love for Zayn. They spent lots of time talking about it and it helped.
It helped so much that after Zayn broke up the engagement with Perry, Liam commanded all his courage and told him. Well, not telling in like using words, he just kissed him.
They had a good time, playing some stupid Mario Cart.
„Hey!! Mate!!“ Zayn shouted in frustration, „Not FAIRE! shouldn't you let me win? Like I just broke up with Perry, yeah!“
„No, i don’t"
„Why tho! Can’t you see I'm heartbroken!“ Zayn said with a smile and started laughing after Liam let him drive past and let him win.
„See, now you win by knowing I let you!“ Liam still his eyes on the telly, „does it make you feel better?“
„Of course Leeyuum! You can’t make me feel bad about me winning!“ Zayn said playful.
„Another round? Deciding round, if you want!?!“ Liam still his eyes on the telly but Zayn didn't answer.
He heard the console fall to the floor and Zayn shifting on the couch. As he turned his head to see what Zayn is doing, his fingers clenched the console. Zayn is sitting on the edge of the sofa, his naked feet on the floor. His eyes fixed on Liam and with one swift move he got up and closed his eyes. His hands searching for the down end of his dead pool shirt. His steady hands run up his body and with a final ruck upwards he was standing there, shirtless. As he let the piece of tee fall to the ground, Liam felt the blood flash into his cheeks.
His ear ring bc of the silence between them. Zayn caught and Liam got a grip of himself again. Turning his head to the TV he asked Zayn, „And up for another game or not?“
„Sure am“ Zayn answered. Liam felt his eyes on him.
„Good, I’m gonna rip you in pieces Malik!“ and with that he turned to Zayn trying for a sinister smile.
„HA! You wish loser“ was all he responded and with that Zayn throws his body onto Liam.
Totally unaware with Zayn on top off him he let the console go and tried to push himself out of this situation.
Zayn wrapping his feet around his waist as Liam moved upwards.
„Zayn, what the fuck man!“ Liam screamed as Zayn started tickling him.
„HaHAHAHAHAahahahahaha!, you will never win against me, all those hours of training and you are powerless! HA!“
With that being said Liam grabbed his thighs and fought his way up. He managed it to stand on his feet. Zayn clung to him, wrapping his arms around his neck so he didn't fall of as Liam turned around and pined him to the sofa. Liam on top now Zayn started tickling him again.
Liam captured his hands and with one simple move secured his hands on both sides of Zayn's face.
Zayn totally helpless and kicking with his feet whispering „Come on then, come on!“
Both breathing heavily after the fight and Liam lost in Zayn's eyes and in that situation moved forward and kissed him.
As Liam realized what just happens here, he let go of Zayn and stood up unsure what to do now.
„Liam!“ Zayn said breathless.
He just shakes his head and says„Sorry, mate, I…….I’m sorry!
„Liam, wait“ Zayn called after him as Liam turned and moved towards the door.
„Sorry, totally forgot about this thing I have to do, sorry. See you round“ with that Lima opened the door and was out of this situation.
He went to his room, locked the door and let the tears stream down the first time.
„What did I do! Oh my god!! I ruined everything!“ As he closed his eyes pictures of Zayn undressing himself and his body under him reappeared. The Kiss!
„Fuck! I FUCKING KISSED HIM! Fuckfuckfuckfuck FUCK!“ and with his feeling spinning around and his ears ringing he let himself fall onto his bed screaming into his pillow.
„What have I done!“
After a while he heard a knock on his door, he wasn't sure if he should say anything. Zayn should not see him like this. It’s so obvious that he ruined their friendship.
It knocked again.
„Liam it’s me, Harry! May I come in?“ he asked politely.
„No, go away Harry! I feel and look terrible!“ was all he could say.
„What happened?“
„Nothing, I was stupid and destroyed everything!“
„Let me in, I wanna hear what happened, i don't think you can do such a thing and Liam you are far away from stupid, so open the door and then we can both think about it.“
Nothing
„Liam you know, a problem shared is a problem halved! Yeah?“
With that Liam got up and unlocked the door. As Harry saw his red eyes and nose he went inside quick and Liam closed the door.
„Fuck, Liam! What happened? Is everything good with your family?“ Harry’s voice shakes.
„Omg, just tell me!“
„What, no. No, they are ok, everything fine.“ He let himself fall onto his bed again facing the ceiling. Harry did the same thing.
„So, what happened then? You know you can trust me right!“
„Yeah, I know!“
Silence. Just them breathing and Harry waited for Liam to tell him because he knows he doesn't like to be pushed.
After staring wholes into the air Liam takes a deep breath and says more to himself then to harry
„I’ve kissed him!“
Harry didn't say a word.
Liam turned his head and looked into Harry’s green eyes.
„I kissed Zayn“
„Ok, and what did happen after the kiss?“
„ I left, of curse. I couldn’t face him.“
„Why, Liam you could have finally told him about your feeling.“
„What! No!“ shaking his head.
„It would do more damage to our friendship then the kiss already did!“
„Why would you say or think that?“ harry replied
„Because it’s the fucking truth, Harry!“ Liam got angry „He is straight, he doesn't feel the same way about me and i have to get this into my fucking head!“
„Don’t put words into his mouth he never said or had a chance to say!“
„Just let it be Harry, ok. This is our final show before the break and i just want to get through this and then I'm just spend some time at home. Yeah? Getting my shit together and idk get over him!“
„Liam, just talk to him“ Harry tried to comfort him, „You will never know, if you don't tell or ask him, closure, right.“
„No, we do the break and when we get back together, we both are in a different place and forgot about that, that’s whats best for us and the band. We aren't you guys.“
„Liam, please just….“
„NO! Harry just drop it“ with that said Liam sat up and rubbed his face, „could you leave me alone now, please.“
„Liam, just think about it yeah?“
„Yeah, sure. See you backstage!“
Harry got up and closed the door behind him. After a few minutes Liam locked the door and set an alarm for getting ready for the last show.
