[In The Spider's Web] @the-olde-sinner
Alastor did appreciate Zestial. People called him old, which was true, but in a demeaning manner, which was demented. Three centuries in Hell? This was a fascinating feat, that made The Radio Demon more wary of Zestial than any other.
This was an Overlord that may have understood how to beat the game of eternal life, and who should not be taken lightly.
Besides, he was smart, technologically illiterate, and criminally overlooked. They had a lot in common!
So, after Valentino attacked the spider Sinner to steal territory from him, leaving him wounded and destitute, Alastor decided it was time to pay him a little visit.
On the way, he had to hop over broken glass and swirl around busy workers, many reconstructing the damages due to Zestial and Valentino's fight, most on the rehashing of the place according to their new owner. It was quite difficult to tell where the fronteer started, some buildings glowing half green and black, others faintly tinted in pink fumes.
Alastor humes contently as he reaches Zestial's mansion, bearing roses picked up at Rosie's and a delicate box containing a peculiar present: a moth pupa, collected from Earth, that would soon hatch into a gorgeous specimen of the Volupial Mint Moth. It would be interesting to observe, slow and patient while bedridden, and perhaps, eventually, to crush.
