Just stumbled onto this post and oof….
I’m really honestly super tired of people speaking about the series like they’re the governing authority on shit. Just because you’re gay doesn’t mean your take is right. Millions of gay people, myself included, feel completely opposite to this take. It goes the same for anyone from any group. We are not the reigning authority on people’s experience. One person might find something offensive and another might not.
And to hyperfocus on:
“You eat a tuna melt and then you’re bottoming?” as being unrealistic feels more like you’re the one fetishizing gays more than the women you are loudly claiming are…..
The way to have a discourse about this is NOT to immediately hate on women while also fetishizing gay people in the same sentence.
I fear you may have missed the plot….
