On Zeta Tau Alpha
Following ZTA related tags on tumblr has made me gain a much great appreciation for what I have gotten involved with since I started college.
First of all, I am not a sorority girl. I am a girl in a sorority. In Zeta Tau Alpha. And I am totally proud of it.
Before college, I had never imagined that I would have wanted to be involved in Greek life, but here I am now, totally in love. Now that fall recruitment is just around the corner, I find myself getting more and more excited. I mean sure I complain about how much time and stuff but really, its kind of enjoyable. It probably has to do with the fact that our recruitment chair is pretty awesome. My sisters here at UE make me so happy and its weird to think that I didn't know a single one of them a year ago.
Also, since I have started finding all of this on the internet, I am finally starting to understand, a full year later, that I have sisters all over the country. That we all share the same bond. The same ideals. The same everything. And that makes me so inexplicably happy. Seeing all these girls from so many school participating in similar events makes me so proud to be a Zeta and makes me feel even more confident that I made the right choice.
