Character in general: my list of favorite dangan ronpa characters is a long one that includes 85% of the cast but naegi makoto is one of my favorite dangan ronpa characters regardless;; he's just such a strong and steady person in spite of the awful shit going on around him, someone who can really be relied on despite (or maybe because of, who knows what drives naegi to do the miraculous things he does but i wish it drove me too) his own self-image of being talentless, and i am In Love With Naegi Makoto, How Did This Happen
How they play them: when i first made saionji, owlie gave me a list of all the rpers i needed to follow and idol kuzu and baseball peko were on it as redefining talentswap aus-- and following yr kuzu and yr naegi i can see that time was so so So Right. you are kind of my talentswap inspo honestly; nurse naegi feels so real and natural and draws so well from the fount of canon naegi that it's kind of strange to think that he's not actually canonically a shsl nurse. it feels like he was always meant to be that, you know?
The Mun: ross is a cool person with good opinions, something i have realized is in extremely short order in this community-- you're never afraid to speak up when the comm is trying to do something disgusting and cloak it in "let's all get along" bullshit, and you're vocal in your distaste for the weak and watered-down talentswaps that flood this fandom; and both of those things are things i adore you for, sorry about it
