Released on April 7th 2022, it is the second single off the album Zeit. On April 1st, Rammstein posted on their Instagram that they had invested in the “Zick Zack Beauty Klinik” in Berlin. The post was deleted minutes later.
On April 3, the Zick Zack Beauty Klinik page appeared and the phone number of the clinic was advertised. By calling +49 30 24 77 99 99, the automated menu would greet the callers offering three options:
1. Appointment: Zick Zack will premiere on April 7th at 6pm CET on Rammstein.com. Die Premiere von Zick Zack findet am 7. April um 18 Uhr auf Rammstein.com statt.
2. An instrumental snippet
3. Customer service: one out of three random vocal snippets would play: a) Messer, Tupfer, Vollnarkose, Sieben Kilo Reiterhose und Bauchfett in die Biotonne, der Penis sieht jetzt wieder Sonne; b) Wir entfernen rasch zwei Rippen, Schlauchboot basteln aus den Lippen. c) Falten rascheln am Skalpell, Vorhaut weg, sehr aktuell.
On April 9, 2022, a pop-up kiosk was set up at Alexanderplatz in Berlin where fans could buy the magazine and single in person. the physical CD was released inside an exclusive 32-page magazine.

It finally came!
Pros: This magazine is such a fun piece of merch! Might get the posters framed sometime. It was really funny too, like a look into the Zick Zack universe and the magazines that write about them. This is EXACTLY like the celebrity magazines I used to read as a preteen! 10/10
Cons: Would have been funny to have a "beauty tutorial" too but that's just an afterthought
