ZICS ‘15 TABLE REGISTRATION
WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR FINE ZINE/COMICS-HAWKING SELF FOR THIS YEAR’S ZINE + INDIE COMIX SYMPOSIUM!
Firstly, if you’re planning on grabbing a table, you must complete this rego form! It’s important because it let’s us know who you are and what kind of stuff you plan to have on your table space - we have some basic guidelines indicating how much non-small press/street press/zine/comics wares you’ll be trading as we prefer a higher ratio of the print stuff.
~~~MENU~~~ Order a table with your choice of sides through the Pozible campaign reward system. Once you’ve filled out the form, it’ll email it to us; we match the name on the form with the name of the Pozible backer, and you’re sweet. If you wanna be cool and aloof and not use real names, that’s chill too - just make sure the name on the Pozible pledge is the same or similar to the one on the rego form. And yes, you can sign up for just one day of the exhibition weekend!
$30 | Small 90cm table space
Perfect for individual creators or traders, or even first-timers. Hell, you could even fit a small distro on here. It’s half a fold-out table.
$60 | The whole fold-out table
This one’s better for larger distros or people with zines pouring out of every orifice. Naturally, double the size of the small space option at about 180cm.

Cuz it’s all about being a struggling artist with a wallet as tortured as your soul, getting a table at ZICS is waaay cheaper than at the bigger pop-conventions.
What you know about missing panels at cons cuz you’re trying to sell your life’s work? Nothing if you table at ZICS - we’re limited on numbers but if you don’t have a buddy, one of us can spot your table while you go take a breather. ZICS has a relaxed atmosphere so the hustle is rare.
We’ve got some funds left over from previous years, so we figured we’d do with what those dollars were intended for and put ‘em directly towards the makers and creators fueling the fire. If you’re from outta town, lack finance, but reaallly wanna be at ZICS, we’re open to sorting out bursaries to help our zine/comics making comrades make it over to Brissy for the weekend - just chuck us a message or email about it and say hi!
We don’t attract as many punters as bigger fests, we’ve gotten a bit over 2000 humans in and out of The Edge in previous years. So there’s time to chat with the tabler sitting next to you, go around and meet other artists and creators; one of the beautiful things about ZICS is that it’s an openly social space - you’ll be sitting next to cool like-minded people!
Phew, that’s a bit to take in, but hey, at least there’s no tall stack of agreement contracts with tiny exclusivity clauses you gotta sign your soul away to in order to sell paper.
