IT HITS YOU HARD! I think it’s a little too short, but what it lacks in time it makes up for with the unique art style and how it handles sensitive subjects. [HUGS]
Hello ya’ll! I want to welcome our new followers! Thank you so much for the follow! And Sorry if this blog seems empty as of now but I promise this will be updated more frequently.Â
Me and @prodingus traveled all the way to Charlotte, North Carolina, to attend TFCON in the artist alley. We had our table and it was so much fun and a great experience, well why I don’t show ya under the cut.Â
zielloos and @prodingus TFCON adventure go!
Aside from somethings I won’t go into detail about our arrival on Thursday, we were both nervous and excited about the whole weekend. Though, we couldn’t set up until Friday morning ahaha. Turn out okay since we got good rest before our big day.Â
After fueling ourselves with pizza and meeting several friends, we began set up on Friday and brainstormed last minute ideas for our table set up. So at the beginning we had this.
A lot seemed missing so after we picked up our noms for the weekend thanks to the help of awesome people that gave us a ride to the store, we picked up some things from Walgreens and our final set up looked like this.Â
Look at that gigantic nerd up there. Get her off! Yeah, dat be me argh. Last minute but we were really happy about it! Given that nothing but a welcome party going on we headed back to our hotel to hang and eat with some nerds. Hehe. Good times talking about stories and FCs. Â Our room? Well it was pretty fancy! I mean look at it!
You will probably need to open a new window to see it. And yes that’s a full kitchen! Some fancy stuff eh? Anyway back on track.Â
Saturday is when the dealer’s room opened, and oh boy were we nervous! But literally five minutes after the ‘con opened we got our very first commissions and did we rejoice and were so excited we forgot to take pictures of 90% of what we did. Srsly, we realized after the fact and we still hope some of our commissioners post them pictures online! Some of them did! Thank you guys! One awesome thing happened after the other and we pretty much chilled with Ryan, who just made our experience even greater!
We also set up a tip jar. Basically a tip for a small sketch and a change to enter our lottery with prizes. It was a success, thanks to the Scavengers.Â
But at the end they started to drive us crazy so we give them away.Â
Neither of us left empty handed, we got commissions, people bought stuff. We get to talk to awesome and creative folks and it was a great boost for us! So much we decided to do it again, so keep watch we will crash next tfcon!Â
PS: We almost fought Optimus.Â
Weeeell, one of us did. I was trying to stop the senseless fighting.
