honorable mentions:
hi I also really miss tim
- ❄️
i miss good tim
bc i like reminding you guys i make things ♡
(It's a supremely popular thing, tbh.)
it’s probably just a me problem but i can never find any content where tim is actually written right 😭 idk how to even say it nicely… he’s always written kinda badly?? so yeah it makes it really hard to read/watch anything tim or batman / batfam-- related sometimes so i didn’t know it was a popular thing sorrry!!
wishing you a speedy recovery <3 and thank u for the answer!
I understand — granted, I do know everyone has their own interpretations and I just have a burning passion for asshole 90s Tim lol Imo, it's not "bad" — it's just how those people prefer to portray him. I'm not a fan of it, but there's nothing inherently wrong with it. But, my page is also very very welcoming to everyone enjoying what they enjoy, it's just made clear I write him in a very specific way! Often how he's portrayed in early comics + og YJ ♡ I like my sarcastic, dark humor, morally grey, manipulating little bastard that likes taking out kneecaps. My biggest peeves are honestly the coffee and making him ?? shy/socially awkward???? Tim was incredibly good at socializing, had a ton of friends and was popular.. idk where that version of him came from, tbh. I am simply very opinionated—
But no, I get that! The only reason I know how popular it is, is because of my lovely followers who send me things like this c: It's actually how I ended up having a Bernard as Magik au!
Thank you ♡♡♡ I appreciate it. And of course, I am always here for it!
no new comics til i get my sozomaika variant, my valentines pre-orders, or my x-men first class 💔 but, i have added new books to my already too large book collection! featuring my double framed mirror and mp3 player lol the cranford collection dracula is from my mom ♡
+ the frame, lol
Hii. I hope you're doing alright. I just read your Inertia posts and I really loved them👀 Like really really. You're the first person I meet that not only knows Thad but also likes him and has his character dissected so deeply.
I'd like to hear your opinion, because you're clearly an expert (and again, I can't find many Inertia fans out there lol). You think Thad has the potential to get redeemed and become a "good guy" or he works better as a villain and, y'know, being bad?
I'm really curious about what you think 🧎♀️
I would die for him. [ probably by his own hand if we're being realistic, but, yaknow, lmfao. ] But, no – I have always had the weirdest attachment to this character despite having next to no content. Also 🥰 character dissection does happen to be my speciality.
I'm going to be SO honest, I only know like.. two people who even know him, and they know him because of me. Granted, MOST dc fans I know don't even know who Impulse is, in general, so I can't really fault anyone here. So, it doesn't surprise me lol
So.. I think it would heavily depend on why or how he became good. It would take a shit ton of deconditioning, for one. Early on Thad, I feel if he met someone else first, that could work as a lowkey stepping stone to gradually pick his brain and push him towards his own existence, rather than why/the reason he was created, it wouldn't be.. too difficult. It's the same as Kon needing to get away from how he saw things and others saw him for a bit, with Superman — just, uh.. wasn't conditioned the same.
Regardless of the possible empathy and the jealousy, things that could've been fixed if he let them — and I say let heavily bc I fucking haaaaaaate the "I can fix him" thing. Even above thats not what I mean about someone else. I mean they could talk to him, not push him — I do think he fits as a villain and I would be highly disappointed if he were to be a good guy.
New Earth Thad has absolutely zero fucking chance of redemption. Ever. For any reason, lmfao. Like — his record basically has him his own section of hell.
Prime Earth Thad, again, I have no fucking clue because I haven't seen him 🤷🏻♀️
At the end of the day, I don't think redemption is in his cards. And if dc tries to ever do that, if they recall he exists, its going to be the most ass, disney channel story ever.
Tldr;
Potential: yes, but only at the beginning.
Status: leave him evil.
I have a fun question thanks to a friend putting the curiosity in my head, knowing damn well I'm probably about to get my feelings hurt:
What, uh.... DC character[s] do you guys associate me with? 🤔 Whether it's just association or a character that makes you think of this place or vice versa. I just need to know now.
