What do you think of The Next Day? It's so badass of bowie to release this all new album after 10 years of retirement, but at the same time, I'm sort of lukewarm to the album. Like yes there are a few really amazing songs on there, like the stars are out tonight and where are we now, but I don't think it really compares to idk Heathen or Earthling. What do you think??

I get what you mean! For me at first I loved it then didn’t think much of most of the songs but I would say now listening to it again I love it because I’m noticing loads of new things in it?

But I think I’ve lost some of my objectivity at this point- like you said, it was just so fucking awesome to have something recent and current from him that the songs were like an insight into where he’s at right now- so I treasured them whatever they were!
