A shiver goes down Zach’s spine at the whispered words. The first time around, during the podcast, his body’s reaction surprised him, but they quickly changed the subject and he forgot about it.
But when he got to his desk and started editing the pod, it happened again — a full body shiver, this time, at Miles’ whisper.
Before he knew it, he was cutting that sound bite and replaying it, a mesmerizing loop for his ears only. Soon, it starts eliciting more than a shiver — he starts squirming in his seat, his brain supplying uninvited images of his employee whispering in his ear, wrapping his arms around him...
