Hey everyone! We've been talking over the changes from the interest check and we're ready to share!
First things first is the modifications to the timeline! Since the reception was too small to reach physical print, we currently dont anticipate needing another moderator. Luckily this means we can get started on apps sooner! Applications will now be open from April 1st to May 8th, a little over 5 weeks. Additionally since apps got bumped up, we added an extra week to the production period, making it 13-14 weeks instead of 12-13. Lastly, the digital files will be live through September instead of the previously penned October.
The second order of business is zine size. Since feedback was small and it'll just be two mods, we've settled on a small zine as well. We'll be taking 25 applicants, 20 for inside the book and 5 for add-ons. Another thing we noticed in the interest check & have accounted for is written applications. We've decided to accept written applications as well, Mod Cin volunteering to be the beta reader/editor. We also decided on 3 digital add-ons to choose from: printable coloring pages, mobile wallpapers, & icons/emotes.
The last of three things the interest check estimated to answer was zine price and charity. We've decided on utilizing a pay-what-you-want model for the digital zine bundle, with all proceeds going to The Trevor Project.
