That's the aftermath of the Zone Prison stuff. :B At least we have an in-universe reason why the Zone Cops can't just interfere with the Prime Zone's conflicts anymore. Its way better than just Zonic telling them "Every zone needs a Robotnik to fight" like he did in the old Specials.

Man, a lot of the Zone Jail's architecture and layout keeps giving me Guardians of Galaxy vibes. From the office overlooking all the prison cells to the way gravity is distorted in the midst of a jailbreak!

Also for a prison that holds the most menacing criminals of all the alternate dimensions, you’d THINK security would be a little bit tighter? Maybe if they had “Znuckles” or someone as an obstacle to get past I would have let them off for making this jailbreak look so easy.
