Nanna is the wife of Baldr and the couple produced a son, the god Forseti.
Baldr was incessantly tormented at night by phantoms which mimicked the shape of Nanna and caused him to fall into such an unhealthy condition that he could not even walk properly. The violent passion that soaked his heart brought him almost to the verge of collapse. He judged that victory had yielded him nothing if it had not given him Nanna as a prize.
After Baldr's death, Nanna dies of grief. Nanna is placed on Baldr's ship with his corpse and the two are set aflame and pushed out to sea.
In Hel, Baldr and Nanna are united again.

“The second son of Odin is Baldr, and good things are to be said of him. He is best, and all praise him; he is so fair of feature, and so bright, that light shines from him.”
He had a dream of his own death and his mother had the same dreams. Since dreams were usually prophetic, this depressed him, so his mother Frigg made every object on earth vow never to hurt Baldr. All objects made this vow except mistletoe. Loki gave a spear of mistletoe to Baldr's brother, the blind god Höðr, who then inadvertently killed his brother with it.
It does not seem there is an anniversary celebrating this year but I did an AMV anyway <3 Enjoy the feels.

ZNT4A is almost here!
Once again we’re celebrating Zankyou no Terror’s anniversary. We might be a tiny fandom, but the feelings remain strong. Can you guys believe it’s been almost 4 years since ZNT broke our hearts?
We’ll be posting the themes tomorrow -June 29th.
As usual, posts can be anything - from fanfiction to fanart, edits, manipulations, fanvids, gifsets, playlists, etc.
