Summer pattern challenge days 7 & 8 - Coral 🪸🐠
This was a challenge at first but really fun. Part of the challenge actually came from just how many beautiful types of coral there are and how much life coral reefs support, it was hard to pick what to focus on... I'm very pleased with how it came out, though!
We've got everything in your Sanctuaries from A to Zoanthid!
The stunning beauty of National Marine Sanctuary of American Samoa does not end at the depth the light reaches. There is real beauty to be found in the deep. Take a look at this yellow zoanthid (a close relative to corals and anemones) found colonizing the skeleton of an octocoral in the deep blue waters of American Samoa.

My Zoas! Just joined the reefing community :’)
As requested by @letsgetsalty. Needs a little love still, going to move some more zoas over from the grow out. All the inverts except for Godzilla (cleaner shrimp) were hiding. He's probably going to go in the grow out, but he came from a tank that was infested with velvet so he's got to stay in the 4g for several months.
