A small box appears on the bedside table with a small note attached to it. Inside is a key lime pie with a whipped cream smiley face drawn on it. "Dear Zod, I heard you were sick and I hope you feel better. Even though I haven't met you, Ven has told me everything that he's heard from Mari about you. You seem like a nice guy and I wish I could have gotten you a more personal gift. Ven decorated it to cheer you up. Merry Christmas and get well soon. - Kathryn and Ven

Opening the box he looked at the pie. Lifting his brow, he read the note. He gave a nod of approval with a small smile, and goes to put the pie in the fridge.

I'll save this for later.

* A small gift appears in your room. Inside the box is a small knife with a decorative image of a hawk carved into the hilt. Attached is a note that says: "Hey, I heard that you were back, and I just wanted to give this to you to say 'Merry Christmas/Zodmas and no hard feelings over the whole you and Terl trying to kill me and my friends in space a couple years ago' thing. Hope you like it-- Spoony"*

Opening the present he was quite curious. It was from that one reviewer, Spoony was it? Seems he bares no longer ill will. He looked at knife with slight admiration.

You find a present with your name on it under the christmas tree. It's wrapped in lightblue paper with big snowflakes on it. As you open it, you find a bracelet inside. It's made out of sliver and has a round goldplate on it. On it, there are several diamonds which form a sun. There is a note in the box along with it - "For my sun. I know that you don't want presents to be a thing on "Zodmas", but did I ever listen to you? - Ferdinand"

After Zod gave out his "useful items" to Kara and Terl. He stopped by Mari's room to give her item, which was a little panda hat for her wrapped in a bag. Which he knows will be quite of practical use for the young one.

Noticing the gift he gave a sigh, well might as well open it. Hopefully it's something useful, presents are not his thing after all. Holding up the bracelet he blinked for a moment, it was quite pretty. He glance at the note for a moment.

Quiet for a moment, he gave a small smile.

Terl isn't sure if he's allowed to buy you a Christmas... sorry Zodmas present because you said they are unapproved. He wants to get you something nice but he wants you to like it and not be offended.

I'm only okay with it if it's something useful, like socks or a tie. I feel like presents are just useless and frivolous things. So yes I don't approve of them.

After all I'm a practical Kryptonian and demand only practical things. What's the use of something like a popcorn dispenser or a fake talking polly bird thing. If it hasn't a use, I do not want it.

Which reminds me I should hand my darlings the useful things I got for them instead of presents. They deserve it after all.
