I have no idea if these are uncommon, but…

I think Neal hates mayonnaise because once while he was dumpster-diving, he ate a bunch of chicken salad and tuna salad sandwiches and spent the next day and half throwing up.

I think Neal struggles with alcohol addiction and is embarrassed and ashamed of it.

I think Neal loves the Beat writers but also harbors a secret love of Jane Austen. He stashes Austen novels deep in the bowels of the Bug. Not even Emma knows.

I think Neal likes making things. Doing this with his hands. Fixing cars, carving, handyman sort of work. He got this anxious energy in his fingers from his father, who obviously was a spinner.

Neal loves bagels because one of the first meals he had when he escaped Neverland was from a kind baker, who gave him free bagels to the starving teenager.

I think Neal loves Springsteen, Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and David Bowie.

I think Neal got weirded out the first time he watched Labyrinth because the Goblin King reminded him of his father.

I think Neal would’ve voted for Hillary Clinton and would’ve supported her from the beginning.
