Annette was the youngest of the family, and with parents that want the family to be perfect. They wanted three lovely young little ladies. Danielle didn’t fit the bill, so Collette and Annette always had that bit of extra pressure on them to be perfect. Annette took that to mean that everything around her had to be perfect, neat and tidy, including herself. She always spent the most time in the shower getting clean in the mornings, but she never managed to take so long that she’d be late for school. Actually she always managed to get there early, and spent time in the class room studying before the lesson started.
As she got older the need to stay clean became even more necessary for her. She would spend hours at a time washing her hands before she ate, or when she’d been to the bathroom. She’d need to wash things the second they got dirty. And everything in her room had to be in the exact right place, she couldn’t even have it a centimetre off without getting worked up and upset. She also spent a lot of her free time studying, trying to be the best she could possibly be. And eventually she was doing the best in school out of all of her siblings, even if she would basically freak out the second anything didn’t go the way she wanted it to.
Eventually it became unbearable for everyone in the house for Annette to be always acting like this, freaking out and panicking if she couldn’t do things in just the ‘right’ way. So her parents took her to a psychiatrist who said she was suffering with severe OCD, and they advised that she go to the Clubhouse to help her deal with her impulses, and her parents agreed that it was the best thing for her to do.
