For Zolu Month 2019, prompt “First Meeting vs Long Time no See” I couldnt choose!
((EDIT: I just realized yesterday I forgot Luffy’s scar!!! I updated the post so now he has a scar. Phew, saved.))
As a little youngun, I loved this ship <3 I think it’s been about 5 years. To be honest, this pairing has been a huge part of my art/writing career. So, of course, I will treat Zolu month as the most important month of the year! 😤 I always admired artists from afar doing this challenge, so I’m very excited to be apart of it!
The theme was Sunrise Vs Stargazing, so I chose stargazing :)
"The ground beneath Luffy's hand was hard and bits of rock stuck to his palm, but he didn't care. Zoro was stunning in the early morning light and the smell of the ocean was intoxicating to the mood. However, he had leapt forward just as Zoro pulled back just enough to glance out over the sea and mutter, 'Ah, sh*t! What time is it?!'"
