Melbourne hosted its first 100mm Certified event over the weekend; an event aimed to create an understanding and appreciation for the art of 'car modding' to the public. For most people, seeing a car like this on the roads only scream out 'dangerous' and 'hoon'; but we shouldn't be so quick to judge. Underneath all the metal is time, effort, love and determination. It has now become an art-form, creating a culture of motor enthusiasts out there to build their ideal car. Showcasing some of the biggest creations in Melbourne (and interstate), 100mm Certified has brought the public one step closer to appreciating this ever growing art-form. So next time you see a car like this on the road, take some time to appreciate what's gone into it before calling it a 'naughty car'.
