Were there ever any Bakura you couldn't help?

There have been some worlds I’ve been to where I’ve been refused and forced to leave. I can’t help them.

There have been some worlds where I am already dead. Where I was too late to help them. Most don’t even have a grave to remember them by. I do what I can for them.

But there have been some I’ve- .. failed to save. My Zombie self and Doctor self. I should have done more for them. *grits his teeth and looks away* You could argue Sennen, as well.

The truth is, you couldn’t back out of this if you tried.

And that just eats at you.

Every time you are left alone to your thoughts, it sneaks into your mind unbidden and unwanted. What He’s done to you – what He will do. What He will do to this world. Oh, you convince yourself that you are going to stop Him, but you know it’s not true. You know that you can’t. You’re deluding yourself, and maybe that suits you just fine.

It certainly suits Him.

Whatever makes you more useful; whatever makes you play your part like the pawn you made yourself into.

Your arrogance is as see-through as your relationship, and it won’t last. It’s already starting to come apart before you, but you choose ignorance because it’s easier.

You’re attached to him by flesh and bone, joined together by veins and capillaries.

How can you have anything – be anything – when He is going to rip it down in front of you in the long run?

He caught it without so much as a glance. "Of course. Being dead does not change the effect of flavors, it only brings them out fuller. For Me anyway. The putrid decaying of those far below cling to the copper tang they cannot control." He unwrapped the eye, pocketing the foil and eating it with one bite. This supposed man, was far too intriguing to be dismissed so quickly. "Most mortals cannot detect My scent, yet you have mentioned and attacked once for it. Explain." He wasn't asking.

So even the dead could taste and enjoy candy? Nice to know should he ever be in such a position, as unlikely as it was. He picked up a caramel from the candy bowl, raising an eyebrow at the question. Did people seriously not notice this creature wasn’t one of them? Humans were truly ignorant beasts.

"I am by no means mortal and your scent of decay is clear to my senses as your complexion is unhealthily pale and sunken. That and .." Eyes narrowed, a tight almost disgusted smile crossing his lips. “You reek of shadows. The scent of darkness, more putrid than any rotting flesh or oozing pus.”

"I have smelt many in this city that carry it but it drips off your form like syrup, thick and pungent in every metaphoric breath you take."

Hate me, Love me, Miss me

I hate your lack of regard for others of us. I hate that I expect I might one day have to act to keep them safe from you. I wish I could help with your goals but I can’t when you add in such unnecessary violence.

I love your power and presence. You are ambitious and intimidating, someone I should be looking up to. With drive like yous you too will reach all your goals quickly.  No matter the method you decide to choose.

I’d miss you in general. You’re an exciting me. A very interesting zombie. It’s unfortunate we already don’t spend much time together but I think my help is not needed or wanted by you.

((That would really be up for discussion. I mean one thing I’m terrified of is making Tine too strong, like unbelieveable anime hero’ I just got the exact level up I needed when it seems like I’m beaten’ strong. Zombie is very powerful (and awesome in so many ways and the mun is super cool.) and as far as invincibility goes I think they’re both immortal? So It would more be a matter of how fast can Zombie reattach his limbs vs how fast can Tine regrow and shape his limbs?

Personally I think  Zombie and Tine would have a word battle more than physical, just tossing barbs and witty comments back at each other until it diminishes to dead dick and dragon puns and jokes.))
