im really struggling to figure out how i feel about the ending. bc i agree with what everyones saying about it completely contradicting peggys life, steves arc about moving on and found family, abandoning sam and bucky etc. but at the same time like i just want steve to be happy so bad, and the romantic in me absolutely loved how sweet and tender that last scene was. steve deserves that kinda peace so much. so like, it was a bad narrative choice i think? but i cant hate it completely idk

yeah i definitely agree with you. i rly loved how they ended the infinity saga not with a fight or with a gunshot but with a kiss, i thought that was beautiful! i am happy that ultimately steve did get to go “home” and live a life with peggy. i was really against it earlier but now i’m just so much more torn because from steve’s perspective - he’s fought the wars of his life, more than almost any other soldier. so idk i feel like it was a really sweet concept and a great way to give closure but i really dont like how, in doing so, they disregarded a lot of other major aspects of his character and like you said, of peggy’s life :/// bleh im just gonna see if i can forget that the last five minutes existed tbh, it’s giving me too much anxiety
