this was really fucking creepy and not okay and oh my god it was just no

please read it if you know me and live in my area because i think you should know about this

so i went to the library this afternoon and as i was leaving this black guy started following me and kept saying, "hey, miss! can i talk to you for a minute?"

of course i said no because that's fucking creepy but he kept following me and there weren't many places for me to go, so i just walked to my car and got in and locked the doors

the problem was that i was parked along the curb so he could just stand by my car on the driver side and he could block me from driving away, which he did

i rolled down my window a little bit (only enough to be able to tell him to move) and the following ensued:

him: "hey i just wanted to tell you that you're a very beautiful girl"

me: "okay. can you please move?" (freaking out)

him: "hey hey hey, do you smoke?"

me: "no." (freaking out more)

him: "oh okay. do you drink?"

me: "no." (holy shit this is creepy)

him: "ahhh so you're a good girl."

me: "i guess. can you move?" (seriously thinking about calling 911)

him: "do you have a boyfriend?"

me: "no." (lying in an attempt to get him to go away)

him: "ohh is he black or white or...?"

me: "i don't see how that has any relevance." (about to start my car and start driving because holy shit)

him: "oh okay. so i live right around the corner and i was wondering if i could get a ride?"

me: "no."

him: "there's no way i could?"

me: "no."

him: "okay. well i hope you have a nice day."

me: "thank you."

and finally he moved and i drove away and that was a fucking scary experience man like holy shit

i ended up going over to starbucks and chilling there for like 45 minutes and talking to people i knew because i needed to calm down and now i'm much calmer but if you live in my area (u kno who u are) and a black guy comes up to you and starts talking to you please please please get to a public place with lots of people or get in a car and drive away because that was not okay

I just realized that the only deep conversations that I've had were in my hot tub. Maybe it's the person I have them with, or the extremely hot water, or maybe it's the fountain with the pretty lights. It's probably all three, but all I know is I really miss having deep conversations in that hot tub (and the person I have them with), and I really need to just let it all out. Plus my muscles could use it too.
