This is the photo I took few days ago in order to create a zoom background. I choose to shoot the thistle. They are significant Scottish symbol and because I feel Scotland as my home, chosen home, as I moved from Poland to Scotland over 12 years ago, I think I may just said that Scotland is my home. I fallen in love with Scotland, that I wanted to express that in my way and I decided to get a tattoo of thistle on my back which is in grey and purple colours, by the way two of favourite colours. Considering the fact is almost a late September and it’s a time of change in nature, the thistle are already fading away. This also have a meaning for me, as I’m obsessed with death after my dad passed away 16 years ago. Autumn intensifies my perception of transience.
