(Ok to answer publicly) I don't understand how people got to this conclusion, but apparently some people think that Levi giving Eren the autonomy to choose in the female titan arc was abusive? Like, unless I missed something major I really don't see how that scene can be read like that . .

I’ve seen some people claim that he was trying to emotionally manipulate Eren into not transforming when that’s what he wanted to do. Which I just ??? Didn’t read it like that at all. And clearly now we see that Levi feels very strongly about making one’s own choices and going with your gut as he’s discussed it when many people. So if there are still people discussing this, then I’m kind of wondering how they are interpreting his character and if they’re really just that adamant about him being a bad person. I have no doubts Levi was prepared to fight alongside Eren in his titan form when they were being chased by Annie.

I'm so sorry you have gotten hate for expressing opinions, and over a fic of all things. We're all in the same fandom and yet we can't even act civilized when having a discussion :(

Ah, thank you sweetheart, I mostly try to ignore it because people tend to lash out when protecting something they like. But yeah, it sucks that there's so much hate for simply having an opinion.

If you don't mind my asking this; do you think the wank on tumblr has influenced your opinion on ereri?

If I said it didn't, I would be lying a bit. Still, my thoughts on it have been changing for a while in terms of the context in which I ship it since I've started shipping other pairings. Like now I'm starting to favor it romantically more so in AUs rather than in the canon. Still, I adore Eren and Levi's relationship in the canon and I can't wait to see where their relationship goes, especially after chapter 66. I had been trying to stay away from whatever ship hate I came across and tried to be influenced by what I really felt and my own thoughts alone, but with the recent rises in the shipping wars and the fandom itself becoming problematic, I stepped away and had to take another look. I still ship it obviously and you're still gonna see it from me. It's just that I'm expanding my thoughts a bit and I hope you all understand.
