The workday was coming to a close and a uniformed fox, well-known as one of ZPD’s finest on duty, strode down the sidewalk towards the parked police cruiser, with one grande and one venti Snarlbucks cup in each hand. Carefully maneuvering one cup in between a forearm and his chest, he reached over to unlatch the passenger car door, swinging it open and hopping into the vehicle without spilling a single drop.

"Alright, your turn, Carrots. Hit me,” he remarked, handing his partner in crime the venti cup filled with her favorite brew, just the way she liked it; at least from what he was able to remember. Nick shut the door and waited for Judy to continue their game of 20 Questions they’d started earlier while on standby. Listening to the police scanner for hours on end, waiting for a call to interrupt their sitting around wasn’t exactly their idea of an eventful workday, and the two of them figured they might make the most of their time by at least making a game of it.

“Alright, well, have you considered in first place THAT WE DON’T LOOK LIKE CIRCUS ACTORS AT ALL?” The bunny stepped in the light to reveal the costume they had already stole -as if that wasn’t going to give them a lot of paperwork as soon as someone at the station found out- and crossed her arms with a deadly glare on those lilac eyes of her. “They are a family Nick! They will notice we are not a part of his group and we could say goodbye to our jobs for both trespassing without a legal permission and delivering false information to a civilian”

The fox and the bunny

Alex walks down the street after getting a tip on someone that can help him find the missing animals. For some time now, animals around Zootopia have been disappearing without a trace. So far, the police have been useless since they haven’t found a single lead. Good thing for him is he isn’t a cop.

He is a private detective that can go further and do more than the police can. He heads to his car to get to the tip...when he notices someone giving him a ticket. “Oh come on! I was just here for a few minutes.”

There was a big meting tomorrow at the ZPD, something about a big case, Judy was nervous, so much so that she couldn't sleep a wink. She picked up her cell phone, from under her pillow, and had a look at the time.

'2:03am! Oh sweet cheese and crackers...'

That was when she decided to text Nick.
