Zootopiastuck. Just. Little rabbit sized John Egbert from Bunnyburrows going to Zootopia to visit his cousin Jane who got an internship at CrockerCorp probably, idk. John bumps into his internet friend Dave Strider who he had NO CLUE was a huge white tiger “omg wow Dave you can reach the middle shelves at the general store without jumping” because those are built for all animals. And Dave’s totally “pigtails” flirting with a bobcat Karkat- Bobkat. But Bobkat’s just like “um, what, I don’t understand what your enormous tiger mouth is spewing is that some form of communication” and the Mayor is a tiny little tabby cat who doesn’t talk but Dave keeps him around cause “he’s chill, egbert, shut up, I’m not starved for affection” and then there’s Jade whose just like a big wolf and super cool and then Rose is a majestic ocelot and John’s just like “why are you all so HUGE” and they’re all predators too, so mammals keep asking John if he’s okay and he just keeps saying “why wouldn’t i be?” all clueless but his friends know why, because mammals are racist (species-ist?) bastards.

Imagine wolf Jake totally avoiding tiger Dirk because they had a tough breakup and Dirk just being like “yeah I totally deserve this” and cervil Roxy just like “OMG I NEED A DRINK YOU TWO SHOULD JUST GET BACK TOGETHER STOP BEING NEEDLESSLY DIFFICULT AND JUST TALK THROUGH IT” but Dirk’s like “Tundra Town is freezing, I’m not going there not even if Jake is there totally flirting with all them polar bears”.

Imagine tiny bunny John having a huge crush on polar bear Vriska because she seems cool (pun intended). Imagine tabby Mayor using elephant sized cans and mouse sized cans and all sized cans to make Can Town. Imagine MOUSE CASEY. Imagine mega bat Terezi creeping out John. Imagine Equius being a majestic stallion who’s best pals with a majestic lion (Nepeta) and they just sort of bask in their own majesty sometimes. Imagine Equius reminding Nepeta to “stop acting like a cub you’re a full grown lioness”. Imagine Sollux being a ferret because they’re two toned and also they’d be lanky as fudge-balls. Imagine enormous cervil Roxy taking one look at teensy bunny John and thinking “boyfriend material”.

I think this au of adorable unlikely animal friendships will be the death of me. Zootopia in general is going to be the death of me. Too cute.
