Bunch of Spore hero sketches I drew some time ago
Korik stared in horror at his trembling hands, blood dripping down from his fingers. "I... I just..."
"What's the matter, dear?" He recognized Zoris's voice in an instant. "Isn't this what you wanted? To be stronger?"
"I... Yes, but..." He turned towards her, trembling voice barely above a whisper. "Not like this."
"Oh, come now, Korik, you'll never be truly strong if you get so worked up about a little mess." Her eyes glowerd brighter, and Korik gasped as he felt his energy start to ebb. "Unless you'd prefer to go back to being the scrawny little boy you were before?"
"NO! Please, I..." Korik looked down at his blood-stained hand, then clenched it into a fist. "If this is what it takes to get stronger, I'll handle it."
"Attaboy!" Zoris snapped her fingers, and Korik's veins pulsed black as the strength flowed back into him. "Now that that's settled, we'd best get going. There's a busy day ahead of us!"

This is Zoris and she's one of my oldest oc
Originally she's my creature from game called Spore hero
Even though she's originally from the game. She can be considered as own thing as well because I gave her own features.
She's alwasy been my sona even though I didn't know that term back then when I was 12 when I played the game for the first time on Christmas when my parents gave me the game.
After I saw the trailer on youtube I begged my parents to give me the game but they told me no. I was sad but I got over it. I still had the classic spore games so I was very surprised when I found the game and the wii console under the Christmas tree.
After that I played the game constantly but there was one issue. The game was in English. The classic games were in my language but not this one and my English skills were very, very bad so it took me a looong time to finish the game because I didn't understand what they want me to do and I didn't want to look up on the internet. I wanted to do it myself. I looked only once and that was at the part when I was supposed to change back The beast into his true form but that little B.... Beauty keep disliking what I created so I had to XD
Since that I finished the game multiple times and I'm alwasy happy to come back to it every now and then. This game is my childhood. It's not a perfect game and there are plenty of things that I'd add or change but I still love the game
Zoris means so much to me so it's not surprising that I have tons of art with her

Galena struggled to her feet, breaths sharp and ragged, as Zoris slowly drifted to the ground in front of her.
"How many times are we going to go through this, Galena?" the sorceress asked, glancing dismissively at her nails.
"As... many times... as it takes!" Galena gripped her lance and charged, her voice raising to a furious war cry.
All Zoris had to do was lift a finger, and she was stopped in her tracks. "You come after me." She raised her hand, and Galena was lifted a dozen feet off the ground. "We fight." She flicked her wrist forward, sending Galena rocketing away. "You die." The dwarf rocketed through the air, smashing through two ruined stone walls before hitting the ground hard and sliding to a rest at the foot of a long-dead tree.
Galena lifted her head and tried to speak, but all she could manage was a wet, choking cough, spattering blood over the front of her armor. When she opened her eyes, Zoris was standing over her, pouting with mock concern.
"What is it, a half-dozen how? I respect the tenacity, but all those resurrections?" She shook her head, clicking her tongue disapprovingly. "That soul of yours has got to be wearing awfully thin by now!"
"I don't care... what happens to me." Galena tried to raise an arm, but she couldn't feel anything below her neck. Another cough wracked her body. "Stopping you... is all that matters."
"Oh, just listen to yourself! Where's your sense of self-worth?" Zoris lifted a hand and Galena rose off the ground, limbs dangling limply beneath her. "Look, why don't you do us both a favor?" Zoris's face split in a wicked grin, sharp teeth glinting in the twilight. "Stay dead this time."
She closed her fist, and a sickening crunch was the last thing Galena heard.
The ancient door slid open with the harsh scrape of stone on stone, and light flodded into the chamber for the first time in centuries. A dwarf strode inside, looking around at the intricately carved stone coffin on the far side of the room and the statues and murals leading up to it.
A second dwarf followed her in, holding a torch aloft. "Are you sure about this, Galena?" This doesn't seem like the kind of place the Moldovans would have put a magic sword."
"Come on, Hematite, it totally is! It's a tomb, they probably buried it with its last wielder or something."
"Sure, but..." Hematite looked around at the murals on the walls. Though faded with age, she could make out bits and pieces- throny vines, flames, a large dark figure. "This doesn't feel like the kind of place you'd bury a hero."
Galena shrudded. "Moldovia fell thousands of years ago, we have no idea what their culture was like. Maybe to them, this place screams 'hero.'" She started walking toward the coffin. "Now are you gonna help me open this thing, or go back and tell the boss you got scared and gave up right at the end?"
Instead of doing either, Hematite continued to examine the room. Something was bothering her about it. The statues... they were all facing away from the door, toward the coffin. Almost as if they weren't guarding it, but instead...
Hematite's eyes went wide. "Galena, wai-"
THOOM
A massive wave of force rushed from the open coffin, sending both dwarves flying backwards, slamming them against the far wall and holding them there. Hematite dropped her torch on impact, leaving the room illuminated only by the deep purple glow spilling forth from the coffin.
Cracks started to run through the walls as a figure slowly from the coffin. It looked to be a human woman, wrapped in chains from the neck down, long dark hair dangling from her head. Her eyes opened, shining with the same purple glow emanating from the coffin, and all the chains shattered as one, revealing a sleek black dress beneath.
The woman stretched her arms, rotating into an upright position as the glow faded from her eyes. "Finally. I was amost starting to get bored in there." She spoke with a casual air, seemingly unaffected both physically and mentally by the maelstrom of energy around her. "Now, where's my..." she glanced around her, then shook her head. "Ugh, those Moldovians. Burying a girl without her staff, so rude. Oh well, can't hurt to start fresh."
She beckoned with one finger, and Hematite floated off the wall towards her. "W-what are you- GRAAH!" She was cut off by a cry of pain as the woman started to rotate her finger. Hematite's skin started to ripple, her limbs convulsing as she screamed, until with a sickening wet squelch, the woman pulled the blood from her veins. Galena could only watch in horror as Hematite's body withered, her skin tightening against her bones, her eyes shrivelling away to nothing, her scream fading to a choking death rattle, until she finally fell silent, her dessicated corpse dropping to the ground with a thud.
The blood swirled around the sorceress, coalescing into a solid shape in front of her- a gleaming crimson staff. The woman grabbed it, looking it over admiringly. "There, that's much better." Her attention turned to the remaining dwarf, and she drifted over to Galena. "Now, I believe I have you to thank for letting me out of that musty old thing. What's your name, sweetheart?"
Galena could only stare up at her, frozen in shock and fear. This woman had just... she'd killed Hematite like it was nothing. Destroyed her with a wave of a finger. Just because she wanted a staff? Beneath the fear, a ember of white-hot rage started to burn.
The woman pouted. "Oh come now, don't be shy. Look, I'll start- I'm Zoris, Grand Sorceress of Darkness." She leaned down until her face was inches from Galena's. "Now you!"
Galena felt her tongue move within her mouth, vocal cords expanding and contracting on their own. "Galena Roughred. Freelance adventurer."
Zoris smiled. This close, Galena could see that her teeth were as sharp as daggers. "There you go! Now, was that so difficult?"
Galena tried to fight against her grip, to say something, to but the magic holding her in place was too strong. All she managed to do was wrench her gaze away from Zoris's face.
The sorceress straightened up. "Well, Galena, I'd love to stay and chat, but I'm a very busy woman. I do owe you for releasing me though..." Zoris put a hand on her chin. "Maybe a boon of power? No, you'd just keep coming back for more. A transfiguration? Too messy." Another tremor rocked the chamber. Zoris snapped her fingers. "Oh, I know! You probably don't want to be down here when this place comes down. Ta ta!"
"No, wait-" Before Galena could get another word in, she was sent rocketing back up the way she'd came, through the corridors, traps, and stairways she had descended with Hematite only moments before. As soon as she burst out of the tunnel into the sunlight, she felt the grip on her vanish, and she let out an involuntary cry as she tumbled roughly to the ground. She scrambled to her feet, rushing back towards the tunnel entrtance. "No, no, no-"
A final, massive tremor rocked the ground, and Galena stumbled, struggling to maintain her balance as rocks crashed around her. As soon as she regained her footing, she turned back towards the tunnel entrance, and-
There was no tunnel entrance. The ancient tomb had collapsed, the entryway filled with rock and debris.
Galena stared at the rubble for a long moment.
She felt her knees buckle beneath her, and she fell, letting out a long, wordless scream.
