Pinchas Zukerman (65) es un afamado violinista, violista y director de orquesta a nivel internacional oriundo de Tel Aviv y radicado en Canadá. 

Ha grabado alrededor de 100 obras y ha sido nominado 21 veces para el premio Grammy, que obtuvo dos veces a la Mejor Interpretación de Música de Cámara en 1980 y a la Mejor Interpretación Solista de Música Clásica en 1981.

Relive the youth of some good friends of the Philharmonic, including former Music Director Zubin Mehta, and violinists Itzhak Perlman and Pinchas Zukerman, in this video about a historic performance of Schubert's Piano Quintet in A major, otherwise known as "The Trout Quintet." Catch the violist of the group, Mr. Zukerman — just as nimble as his 21-year-old self — performing Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1 with the Philharmonic tonight through Saturday, led by Christoph Eschenbach.

Fun fact: Not only are the musicians youthful in this particular video but Schubert composed this quintet when he was only 22 years old.
