1. sorry for the delay in Coney Island Summer Series-- a new one is coming this friday mmmkk?
2. you heard about what an amazing opportunity it was to be part of the tumblr 24 covering fashion week last year, right? for the next Spring 2012 FW coverage, tumblr's fashion director Rich Tong has asked for nominationsof the tumblr bloggers you love most to cover hair, beauty, shoes and accessories. i love them all, and am quite passionate about sharing that knowledge with you all, too. if you agree, i'd be honored for you to shoot a note to rich ([email protected]) saying just that. if not, i love you anyways.
3. /of a kind asked me to style one of their newest, most fabulous pieces set for release this wednesday. after i got done jumping up and down at the honor of the request, i said yes and can't wait to share!! i'll be posting around 10 a.m. in-line with their launch, so stay tuned!
4. i'm doing an amazing vacation up the west coast for a week starting this friday. i haven't had a vacation since my honeymoon 3 years ago, which was less than amazing (cc. the husband) so i'm so so so excited to relax, see some friends, take some pictures and share it with you all!
5. Global Fashion Brands, who i've written about before is doing quite possibly the coolest thing ever for emerging fashion designers -- giving them an opportunity to show on their very own runway at Nolcha Fashion Week here in the city this fall. i was totally psyched when Nolcha's founder Kerry Bannigan asked me to be a judge and am super-even-more-psyched to announce alongside Nolcha, that ZulaStudio is the winner! stay tuned for more photos and commentary this fall when i attend their show!
6. i want to slap myself for not mentioning this in my eBay/CFDA 'you can't fake fashion' roundup post but guess what? sara and i met Costello Tagliapietraand i know i may sometimes act all profesh on this here blog but i turned into a small schoolgirl with jumps and giggles and smiles that were way to big for photos (see above).
