A/N: Word Paynn and Moordryd Paynn from Dragon Booster! :D Also Zulay Paynn, who is unfortunately fridged in the show without any further thought/considered for her impact on the other characters.

I like to think she and her husband were on their way to ruling the world together and extremely eager to have a family before tragedy struck. Major evil power couple vibes.

Totes feel there was so much lost potential with the Paynn family, what with them literally building a tower that’s 20+ kilometers tall from the very bottom of Dragon City together and Word literally having no one else (After being expelled from the Priesthood.)

Anyway I’m very proud of this comic, hope you enjoyed!

AU where Zulay manages to steal Beau’s egg but the only problem with that plan is that the Dragon is a giant puppy.

For my mafia au, where Zulay doesn’t die from the accident and the Paynn family actually manage to take over Dragon City, 16 years prior to canon (said delay only caused by Zulay’s passing.) It’s the oddly idyllic au... since the main cast actually get proper childhoods minus the crime/crimefighting.

Love in the sunbeams --- Word, Zulay and pre-evolution Abandonn in the busy streets of Mid City, on their way to some place for a date. A couple baby dergs are running along the streets chasing poor little yellow belly newts D: Not sure if I’ll ever colour this, because it’s horrifyingly complicated/detailed.
