24. Something someone told me that meant a lot

Oh man this is hard because so many people have told me so many great things like I had a high school teacher tell me something along the lines of "two people rarely feel the same way about each other at the same time, which is why when it happens, it means that much more", and it always means so much to me when people tell me they like my music or anything along those lines.

Also my history prof says some pretty amazing shit all the time.

8. the thing i'm most proud of

Honestly probably my accomplishments in music, whether it's performing a piano piece really well or passing my grade 10 conservatory exam (I got 80%!!!), or writing a really good song or singing something well. Music is just something that I've worked on really hard my whole life - I started piano lessons when I was only four years old. I think sometimes I lose sight of how much I've actually accomplished on days when I feel like I can't write anything worthwhile or I have a bad practicing day, but in the long run I think I've got a lot to be proud of when it comes to music :)

it's funny because i was literally just talking about yeezus with some other people. i don't know what the fuck happened on it, but it was rushed as fuck and i couldn't tell what on it was satire and what was serious because he does both but like there was never any clear switch from one to the other like in other albums like i just don't know man. but you should listen to Watch the Throne, if you haven't already, it's sooooooo much better. That's the stuff Kanye is really all about.

man i don't even know i feel like the whole album (yeezus) is so overrated like i have a friend who's obsessed with kanye and i just don't understand why because nothing he's ever done musically or in his personal life has ever made me like him. parts of the album were pretty decent i guess but as a whole it was probably the worst album i've ever listened to

i found it was just really tiresome to listen to like the first few tracks were god awful and it made me really not want to listen to the rest of it but i'd made a commitment 

I've never heard Watch the Throne, but maybe I'll give it a shot (some other time because I've had enough of Kanye for one night and apparently it's already 1:30 am?????)
