Zygarde. Described as the protector of the Kalos ecosystem, Zygarde is sort of the Kyurem of X and Y. Unfortunately, it hasn't gotten its own game, but hopefully the other forms will be available when "Sun" and "Moon" come out. So the story goes that Zygarde cells are scattered all over the region. The Core is essentially the brain and when in danger, it calls on Cells to form the dog-like 10% Form, the 50% Form (the one in X/Y and OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire), or Complete Form. I like all of them for the hexagon patterns, green and black color scheme, and still tying into Nordic mythology. That is except in Complete Form. There is WAY too much going on in that design. We only have Zygarde 50% at the time of writing this, but it's a Pokemon that's good but not great. However, Zygarde has very well-placed stats, boasting great bulk, decent power, and usable Speed. Dragon- and Ground-type STAB is a powerful combination, able to hit nearly the entire tier for at least neutral damage. Zygarde has great boosting options as well, namely Dragon Dance and Coil, the latter of which is unique to Zygarde in the OU environment. While its offensive movepool is shallow, it is solid enough to threaten a majority of opponents, and also possesses Extreme Speed. That said, Zygarde lacks immediate power compared to its fellow Dragon-type Pokemon and has an unfortunately useless ability. It also does not have a reliable Dragon-type attack, which can limit its sweeping ability. It takes a tad longer for Zygarde to become a threat compared to other Dragons, but that does not make it any less of one. #zygarde #zygardecell #zygardecore #zygarde10 #zygarde50 #zygardecomplete #pokemon #pokemonx #pokemony #nintendo #gamefreak #videogames #pokemonart #fanart #drawing #art #color #digitalart #artist #pokemon20
