"i would never compromise my morals for ______" yes you fucking would, we all are capable of that, that exact mindset is what leads to that behavior. i am capable of compromising my morals, and i have, and i recognize that, and it scares me, and THAT is what gives me the conviction to not fucking do it. not that i have my shit so ultimately figured out that it's now any less likely for it to happen, but that i know that i still can. to think otherwise is to have given in to negligence. i frankly cannot blindly trust if someone says "i would never do ______" because the understanding and acknowledgement that they can is what gives them the perspective they need in order to know how not to.
Hi Lexi!! I also really like the colour red :D
I was wondering if you’d like to be drawn? I think you look really cool but if you don’t feel comfortable with it, I won’t drawn you :)
sure, that would be awesome
handshaking you in Liking The Color Red A Normal Amount +
red is just a really good color. especially with an ashy black
LEX YOU ARE SO BASED IN BAND AND MOVIE OPINIONS
MCR is one i inherited from the others really, but Knives Out is just one of the best movies ever imo.
Kathleen: GEEZ
Olivia: the way you've phrased it it would be egoistical for me to say "this is super accurate" but it is and I'm going to stick to it. (there is a lot of face grabbing when I come across things I love!!!!! all of my favourite clothes are bright colours!!!)
Meg: Canada has legitimately been one of my top ~future home~ wants, have I told you that?? also I bop to music ALL THE TIME!!!! yesterday I started stepping in time with a song I was listening to and moving my arms around and I only noticed the guy behind me when I turned off the path. :(
Lex: face grabbing, geez. wow.
romance novels!
Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie - favourite! favourite! I love fictional romances the most when you can see why two people fit together, and when all the obvious areas of conflict are avoided in favour of rational interaction/understanding, and when they're adorable. there are lots of moments when their interactions make sense here, and that's my favourite. their friends are also really great.
Miss Wonderful by Loretta Chase - I only read this around a month ago and the first few chapters dragged but wow, Victorian era romance with a SUPER GREAT power balance between the two leads?? every time I expected them to go gross the way Victorian romances do they...did not. and the way they respect each other is perfect.
I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella - this is weird, because nothing that Kinsella's ever written has been all that likable for me, but IGYN is really great about making both leads get something out of knowing each other and change each other for the better!!! and their interactions are cute.
either What Happens in London or Romancing Mr Bridgerton by Julia Quinn - it's difficult to choose because both of them are super charming and made me beam ridiculously a lot and both really marked the beginning of my romance-novel spiral early this year.
Queen of Babble Gets Hitched by Meg Cabot, I'm going to say? the romance in that book is one of my favourite things. I can't even remember reading the first two books in this series. I mean, I know I've read them, but I don't care for them at all. I can't even justify loving this as much as I do but. I just do.
Romances in novels that may not be classified romance novels - Gen/Irene in Megan Whalen Turner's Thief series (though a Gen/Attolia/Eddis thing is. right up my alley.), Vicky Bliss the art historian and her art thief in the Vicky Bliss series by Elizabeth Peters. ...yes, I think I'm good with this list.
