look upon my children and despair (order within a category alphabetical because if I had to sort them by relevance I'd cry)
The main cast:
(ocs that are currently of high relevance to me)
Miguel: (Miguel Luca Sanchez) oracle who tries to get by in 1920s America under the wing of Levi Cain, a demon of addiction. Would really like to see the stars once more.
Nines: ([redacted]) pain-vampire running an illegal surgery in the abandoned prison complexes below the moon's first colony. Would largely just like to be left alone.
Risk: (Risk Callahan, aka Hellion) faun born from the unholy union of a priest and a wild god, punished for the blasphemy of his father. Adrenaline junkie.
Ruin: (10 Billion Voices Cry Ruin) a curse of famine sealed away in a clay jar.
Sona: as of yet unnamed peryton.
Supporting cast:
(ocs that I love and think about occasionally, but by far not as often as those of the main cast)
Hunter: (aka Connor Sharpe(?)) punk asshole who lives at the edge of town and experiences occasional bouts of incorporealness and blatant disregard for the solidity of fences. Hobbies include brooding, isolating himself, and trying to drown people in his bathtub.
Ian: (Ian Isaac Walsh) a small town guy from early 90s North Carolina struggling to maintain a normal life while dealing with the fallout of a nearby shut-down government research facility.
Keon: (aka Wisp/Bait) cyberpunk werewolf who made a pact with the magic shrapnel that got stuck in his shoulder during what can euphemistically be described as a car crash. Likes fluorescent colours and neon lights, riding his bike, and horrid energy drink flavours.
Varnius: (Varnius Wildbite) Ash Legion Charr ranger with an attitude. Will poison you and lacerate you and set you on fire and sic his scorpions on you.
Voidguy: lacks a proper name. A sona, of sorts. Lurks in cupboards and under couches and eats your snacks.
The backstage club:
(ocs that either had their spotlight once or never got it to begin with, and don't have much relevance to me anymore. I do think back to them fondly though)
Aristeo: once human, now on his way to ascend to dragonhood as a reward for passing a series of ancient trials. Vain, calculating, energetic. Eats oranges like apples.
Caith: (Caith Marraedom, aka Nightingale) elven assassin, kidnapped, brainwashed, traumatized. Broke free of his chains just to be consumed by despair.
Cirrus: (Cirrus Havoc) scion of a storm god, first mate of an air ship. Energetic, impatient.
Enokan: (aka Icarus, aka Azraahn) traumatized child soldier infused with devil blood and made immortal for a few millennia. He got better.
Hayden: (Hayden Leyland Wright) heir to an old family of monster hunters that use concoctions and toxins to enhance their capabilities. Fled home when his initiation trial was sabotaged. Pragmatic, analytical, self-destructive. Addicted to cocaine coffee.
Messenger: (lacks a proper name) definitely normal guy. Legally not a sign from the gods cast in flesh. Does not speak.
Torvi: (Torvakrim 'Bloodletter' Shepherd of the Stormcliff clan) half-orc farmer who accidentally created and shaped a god by restoring a ruined shrine. When accused of demon worship, his god lashed out against his attackers and killed three. Had to flee from home. Very shy and gentle soul, dislikes violence and dishonesty and wants nothing more than to go back home.
Wyatt: (Wyatt Zachary Burlington) fallen london oc, as a correspondent he studies the language of the stars, the laws they dictate, and how to undo them. Driven by curiosity over all else and will do unwise things just to see if they will work.
