Tag Team Back Again

Tag Team released their debut single Whoomp There It Is! at Freaknic in the spring of 1993. Not too long after that DC The Brain Supreme and Steve Rolln were #1 on the Billboard R&B chart and at the top of the Billboard sales chart. They took up residence there for the next 2 years. Next thing you know the homies from Denver, CO now living in Atlanta, GA where on top of the world literally. They became a recognizable force in the music industry across every continent and brought worldwide attention to music from the south. Due to their hard work and diligence Whoomp There It Is! is now a classic. The song endures in 90's playlists, pop culture nostalgia and continues to gain popularity generation after generation. Children that weren't even born love the song thus validating its legendary longevity. The groups claim to fame Whoomp There It is! has been featured in countless major motion pictures such as Elf, Mighty Ducks 2, Rio, Addams Family Values, and many other classic Hollywood films. Tag Teams career is also littered with TV performances on prime time shows such as The Arsenio Hall Show, Showtime at the Apollo, America's funniest home videos, and recently the Meredith Viera Show. With the popularity of the song, ad agencies consider Tag Team the go to when it comes to commercials. Throughout recent history you can count on Whoomp There It Is! to pop up in popular commercials branding Geico, Pepsi, Android, Luvs and countless more. Tag Team continues to grind and represent to this day. The talented artists book regularly for NBA halftime shows for such teams as Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Chicago Bulls and several others. The group is now booking for future NFL, NHL, NCAA, MLB, WNBA, World Cup Soccer or any sporting event who need good high energy entertainment across the globe.
